Research On The Ideology Of Running Schools In Primary And Secondary Schools

School philosophy is the important issue of school development.At present,the philosophy of schooling of many primary and secondary schools in our country are superficial,homogeneous,and disjointed from school-runnning behavior.The theoretical research on school philosophy is not enough and systematic.Therefore,Further study on school philosophy helps enrich the contents of school research,improve the top-level design of primary and secondary schools,and provide the theoretical supports for principals' professional development and the educationist'school-runing behavior.The article,drawing on the achievements of the western school philosophy,tries to answer the following four questions: “How to understand the connotation of school philosophy?” “How to refine school idea?” “How to grasp development orientation?”“How to establish the aims of educating people?” The main methods we used are:“literature research?comparative research?and survey research?case research ” to carry out the research.Finally,we put forward our opinions.In the field of primary and secondary school management,there are many concepts related to school philosophy,and there is a phenomenon of “concept jungle”,which leads to principals' confused and misused the connotation of school philosophy.Through analysis of a series of concepts,using the analysis framework of Robin Barrow,the famous western philosopher of education,we finally confirm “school idea,development orientation and the aims of educating people”as the core components of school philosophy.It reflects the expectations of school running scholars for “good education,good schools and good students”.School iead is the ultimate reflection on the reasons and values of the school.As the soul of school philosophy,in view of the common problems existing in the current school idea,the article pus forward the basic path of refining the idea of running a school,and put forward four requirements for the expression of the idea of running a school: thinking integration and personality;profound thoughts and reasonable blend;clear interpretation and concise explanation;easy to pronounce and read.The development orientation is the vision and ideal position of school development.In fact,it is the school runners' expectation for a good school.In view of the problems of “blurred and blind development orientation without personlity”,the article puts four strategies to grasp development orientation,and points out three basic requirements of the development orientation: complete and concise;based on reality and;focusing.All school work is ultimately aimed at training students.Therefore,the aims of educating people plays an important role in the school-running ideology system.It is the dream and expectation of school running scholars for “good students”.In the view of the problems of the aims of educating people,the artilcle puts forward the quality requirement for the students and puts forward four principles that should be followed in establishing the aims of educating people: the combination of allround development and personality publicity,the combination of demand and adaptability,the combination of hierarchy and testability,and the combination of simplicity and clarity.Finally,the article thinks that school philosophy plays an integral and leading role in school development,which depends on the joint efforts of the members of the school community.To refine school idea,determent the development orientation and put forward the aims of educating people,principals play a very an important role,but they are not only relying on the principals.but also needs concerted efforts of members of the school community.Therefore,we must take the members of the school community as the main body of the school philosophy,so as to ensure the smooth formation and implementation of school philosophy,so that we can effectively and effectively promote and guide the development of school.
