The professional work of teachers is overshadowing the daily and social educational life.Although the series of educational activities carried out by teachers around students, curriculum and teaching management are quite important,in fact, they can only be counted as one aspect of educational life, especially when we use the standpoint, viewpoint and method of sociology to examine them. The purpose of focusing on the educational life of primary and secondary school teachers is to consider the daily and professional nature of teachers' work and life and their social constraints, and to bring teachers back from the abstract "soul engineers" floating in the air to the more tangible "people who live an educational life" on the ground."The themes and contents of teachers' educational life are rich and varied, and the "body" is an important grip for us to grasp the relevant aspects,i.e.,to start from the body representation,to present teachers' posture, appearance, and bodily experience in a relatively intuitive way,and then to rethink "who teachers are" or "what teachers do"in the context of the new social structure.Based on the connection between the body and society, the sociology of the body focuses on the two-way interaction between the"body composition of society" and the "social construction of the body",which provides a framework for us to examine the relationship between structure and action, and between the individual and society, and also provides theoretical support for us to enter the lives of teachers and analyze their bodies. This study aims at the "body presentation" of primary and secondary school teachers, and investigates the relationship between teachers' bodies and the educational society through interviews with 25 teachers in different districts and cities, and by observing teachers' speech, behavior, and physical performance in the educational field. In contrast to the relatively abstract and hidden "self-presentation",the research turns to the sociology of daily life with the interaction between situation and practice, and through the body as a representational mechanism and an important mediator, teachers' images, temperament, roles, norms, distances, interactions, experiences, performances, overtime, labor, and other classical body-dependent issues emerged(in educational field),and age, gender, stature, appearance, emotions, health, and other less important body markers in the traditional perspective emerged(in educational foreground),and teachers' bodies became an important window for understanding and even interpreting teachers' educational lives with their external and internal distinctions, natural and social differences, and physical and spiritual differentiation. It is found that teachers' bodies are constantly shaped by the society in their educational life. However, restricted by educational discourse and social norms, teachers show special behaviors that are different from other groups in many aspects. This kind of special state needs to use polyphony technique to investigate the main aspects of teachers' body presentation, such as image, posture, orientation, experience and encounter, and pay attention to the interaction between social norms(system),social relations(culture),social situations(space-time)and teachers' body image,so as to show the different body dimensions of teachers' educational life more comprehensively. From the perspective of physical appearance, the shaping of teachers' image and temperament has its social and cultural standards, between the standard body, tabooed body and dressed body,is the dialogue and game between teachers' natural body and social body, the body reflects the unique political color and symbolic significance, and speaks the teacher's social self. The static overall description of teachers' images depicts the basic characteristics of teachers' images, while the socialization and standardization process of teachers' bodies and their derivative effects are embodied in the dynamic and representative behaviors and emotions. The movement transformation of teachers' standing and sitting reflects the specific role requirements and social norms of teachers' profession. In different situations, teachers' posture of sitting and standing shows different styles.Sitting and standing are transformed from basic body movements to "body language" with social implications. The fundamental driving force of the transformation is the implicit or explicit social norms that exist before the actors. The vivid depiction of teachers' typical body posture indicates that there are significant differences in identity and status between teachers and students and colleagues, and these differences have been embodied into visible distance in teachers' daily interaction. It is the temporality and spatiality of the body make a certain social distance between colleagues and teachers and students, which is obviously reflected in the school educational life as time distance and space distance. Here, distance transcends the natural category and enters the social field.Social distance reflects the exclusion, integration and control between bodies. The spatial distance of educational life includes two aspects: one is the spatial distance and body positioning in the classroom, the other is the spatial distance and identity recognition in the office. The time distance in educational life is mainly reflected in the "age difference" and its chain effect. The educational field dominated by the "power-position" relationship maintains the dynamic space-time orientation of teachers' bodies. In addition, the "position" of teachers is also related to abstract emotional experience. The emotions represented by pain and joy are displayed through real experience, embodied performance, and body-based "narrative capital".Among them, the social role expectation of teachers shapes the embodied performance based on reward, the disease performance to escape and the "somatization" symptoms constrained by social culture, while the unique emotional narrative creates the narrative capital of teachers' group self-identity,interaction and even "settling down".The complex emotional experience behind the body image means that teachers' embodied performance will experience deeper social constraints beyond the school space-time.With the continuous extension of working hours and workplaces are no longer fixed, the movement of teachers' bodies reflects the work-life balance problems they face.Teachers often fall into the dilemma of overtime labor in their educational life. The political economy behind it needs to start with the "input-output" relationship of production, and examine the results of the interaction of different social factors. There are certain group differences and gender division of labor in the process of teachers' overtime work. The "overtime" between work and life closely connects educational work and teachers' body, and presents it to social members in a special form.Due to the mediating role of social culture, gender division of labor is not only reflected in the form and content of overtime, but also related to the supply of labor outside the workplace. In conclusion, this study attempts to respond to three questions:(1)Through the writing of the body,it responds to the question,"How to understand the 'body' as an academic concept?" and summarize the interrelationship between the teacher's body and the self, which may be considered as the theoretical problem faced by this research.(2)By discussing the relationship between education and life and the ways of examining educational life,we respond to the question of "What is the purpose of interconnecting educational life and teachers' ways of being?" and summarize the internal relationship between educational life and teachers' bodies, which may be seen as a methodological issue for this study.(3)By establishing the triangle structure of teachers' work-life balance, the paper responds to the question of "What kind of daily interactions do teachers' bodies experience with their educational lives?" and refine the "basic triangle" of educational life in a body-oriented way, which may be regarded as a practical problem to be observed in this study. It is through the description of "body presentation" of everyday life that it is possible to re-understand teachers, and the social implications of educational life will also be manifested concretely.
