Research On The Sharing Economic Development Achievements From The Perspective Of Residents Income

Although China's economy has gained remarkable development and accumulated tremendous results since the reform and opening up,in recent years,it has encountered an increasingly prominent problem of unbalanced and inadequate development,a major factor restricting the broad masses of the people to share the results of the development,and inhibiting high-quality development of China's economy and society in future.Therefore,how to improve the quality of development so as to achieve a better combination of efficiency and equity,and how to realize rational distribution of economic development results,have become an important research question on China's social and economic development.Improving the residents' income level is the most direct and important way of sharing economic development results.Therefore,to improve the income level of each income group under the premise of high-quality development,reduce the income distribution gap between different groups,and make each income group effectively participate in the process of economic development are the key to realize the sharing of economic development achievements.This dissertation intends to formulate a systematic analysis framework and develop feasible methods,to evaluate the economic development achievements sharing among the people,to analyze the pattern and path of economic development achievements sharing,and to examine the mode and effect of sustainable sharing from a dynamic perspective.Generally speaking,the dissertation is an extension of income distribution studies.This research on economic development results sharing is conducted on a comprehensive structure involving the formulation of economic theories,the selection of analytical methodology and the design of empirical schemes.Its studies mainly cover the following aspects:1.The theoretical basis of sharing economic development achievementsAt present,the definition and evaluation methods of economic development achievements and their sharing cannot explain which groups can benefit from economic development,what are the degrees of benefits that different groups get,or how the achievements are shared in different aspects and fields.It is a feasible and effective way to study different income groups by analyzing their income structure including wage income,operating income,property income and transfer income.In this part,the author makes a difference between "enjoying" and "sharing",contending that sharing is a further development on the basis of enjoying,which take fairness and justice in a more in-depth way.Enjoying is a "targeted" process,while sharing is an "inclusive" process.Also,the author intends to categorize the sharing subjects into different income groups based on their common features,so as to better grasp the core connotation of economic development achievement sharing.Therefore,the author studies the scope of the sharing subjects of economic development achievements,sets division criteria of different groups of sharing subjects,and chooses the specific groups to study based on the research purpose of the dissertation,so as to lay the foundation for the subsequent theoretical and empirical research.2.The pattern of sharing economic development achievementsIt is of necessity to make a systematic and quantitative research on the sharing level of economic development achievements,which requires specific indicators for quantifying and analyzing the sharing pattern and evolution process of economic development achievements.This part is mainly divided into two aspects:Firstly,this dissertation proposes a measurement method on sharing level of economic development achievements based on income distribution,renovates the concept of "sharing prosperity" by introducing "inclusiveness" into the study and taking into account the income level of low-income people,constructs the sharing index of economic development achievements,and demonstrates the axiomatic standard of the index.Secondly,it depicts the pattern of development achievement sharing and the impact of different income dimensions on sharing.Based on the theory of social welfare,this dissertation decomposes the influence of multi-dimensional subitem income on the sharing level and absolute and relative inequality of different subjects.To this end,this dissertation uses the data of CFPS to make an empirical analysis,and finds that China's economic growth is sustained,the sharing of economic development achievements is optimistic,and the absolute and relative inequality of economic development achievements sharing are declining.In addition,asset income has a greater role in promoting the sharing;wage income has a greater contribution to the sharing within each income subject,but it does not have a significant role in promoting the sharing between the subjects;transfer income has a certain role in promoting the sharing within each income subject and between the subjects.3.The realization path of economic development achievement sharingIn this part,further study is made on how to adjust the sub revenue structure,so as to find out the realization path of sharing,which requires studying the relationship between various incomes and total incomes from the perspective of relative quantity,and then identifying an operable path to realize sharing.This part is mainly divided into two aspects:Firstly,based on the income components,this dissertation discusses the characteristics of the income structure of Chinese residents,analyzes the mixed distribution of income components,and then identifies different sharing subjects,discusses the sharing characteristics of each subject.Secondly,through the regression model of income components,this dissertation studies how to deconstruct the macro and micro factors such as income flow,wealth stock and transfer payment of different subjects from the income components,and then finds out the specific ways for different subjects to realize sharing,and hence,provides a solution to the problem of how to share the economic development achievements.The empirical findings show that the scale of middle-income and high-income subjects continues to increase,but the growth rate of sharing level of middle-income subjects is relatively slow,and the level of internal sharing inequality is high.In terms of sharing path,we should expand the wage,operating and property income of low-income subjects to ensure appropriate transfer income;moderately increase the property income of middle-income subjects to stabilize wage income;maintain the existing fair and balanced state for high-income sharing subjects,and further reasonably regulate their property income level.4.Sustainable sharing of economic development achievementsWe need not only to find an effective way to realize sharing,but also to accumulate the economic development results in order to realize the sustainable sharing across time and between generations.In this regard,based on the theory of intergenerational income mobility,this part studies the mode and effect of sustainable sharing of family wealth by constructing a logarithmic linear model,its extended model and cumulative logit model.It is found that the main mode of sustainable sharing in China is the inheritance of the income level by the offspring from their parents,as well as the symmetrical heterogeneous flow of "up" or "down".However,the introduction of family wealth will reduce the effect of inheritance and help the relative distance and permeability between different income levels.In addition,to increase the household wealth stock within an acceptable range will increase the opportunity for the bottom of income to flow to the upper level,and provide more opportunities for their children to enter the middle and high income levels,and the sustainable sharing level of their children will be greatly improved.5.The policy recommendations to promote sharing of economic development resultsBased on a systematic overview of the Party and government's policies on "common prosperity" and "sharing of achievements" since the founding of new China,this dissertation finds that "efficiency" and "equity" have always been the important aspects of this issue throughout the whole process,and policy recommendations should be given from these two aspects of economic growth and income distribution.Therefore,the dissertation recommends a number of specific measures on sharing-oriented economic growth and development,such as to maintain the competitiveness of manufacturing industry in the market,to give full play to the role of service industry stabilizer,and to expand domestic demand as the main direction.Also,from the perspective of adjusting the distribution relationship among different incomes,groups and generations,as well as promoting the all-round development of the people,this dissertation recommends to promote reasonable flow of residents'income and share the development achievements that people made together.To sum up,drawing on the theories on economic development achievement sharing and income distribution at home and abroad,the dissertation developed a research framework and method system of its own,and conducted an in-depth empirical research by using CFPS data.Its findings would provide an intellectual basis for formulating relevant policies to promote the comprehensive and sustainable sharing of economic development achievements.
