The Study On The Synergetic Development Between Endogenous Innovation And FDI Utilization In The Yangtze River Delta Area

In China's 13 th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development,there are some ideas.Those are that innovation is the first drive of development and that opening to the world is the only way to national prosperity and development.The report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the CPC put forward that “Innovation is the first motive force for leading development.It is the strategic support for building a modern economic system.Opening up leads to progress and closure is doomed to fall behind.China's open door will not be closed.It will only open wider.Innovation and open cooperation should be strengthened.” Therefore,under the background of open innovation,there is strong theoretical and realistic meaning for the study on the synergetic development between endogenous innovation and FDI utilization.In the first place,the research background,the academic and realistic meaning of synergetic development between self-oriented innovation and FDI utilization are analyzed.The doctoral dissertation gives a comprehensive overview about the relationship between the endogenous innovation and FDI utilization.Then it points out the research status of promotive theory,suppression theory and uncertainty theory on their relationship.Finally it proposes the main content,research thinking,research method and innovation points.In the dissertation's theory basis,the endogenous innovation,FDI spillover and the synergetic theory are illustrated.Under the independent innovation theory,firstly the various modes of innovation put forward by different scholars are combed.These modes are incremental innovation and abrupt innovation,closed innovation and open innovation,synergetic innovation,catching up innovation(imitation innovation),endogenous innovation etc.Secondly the discussion on the independent innovation and the imitation innovation is analyzed.Although domestic and foreign scholars have different understandings on the independent innovation and imitation innovation,but their views are similar.They think that the imitation innovation is the base and the previous process of innovation and that the endogenous innovation is the final aim of the innovation.Both are supplementary to each other.Finally it introduces the innovation system.From the perspective of area,the innovation system includes national innovation system and local innovation system.From the view of whether opening up,there is open innovation system.Under the theory of FDI spillover effect,firstly this study analyzes the kinds of the FDI spillover,which are horizontal and vertical spillover,productivity spillover,technology spillover,knowledge spillover,R&D spillover.Secondly it illustrates the influential factors of FDI spillover,which include absorbility,distance,original place of FDI,technological gap,industry cluster,innovation,human capital,financial development,economy transformation,FDI mode.At last this dissertation analyzes the uncertainty of the evaluation of FDI spillover effect.Under the analysis of synergetic theory,this dissertation introduces some synergetics concept and the current status of synergetic theory.On the perspective of theory,the synergetic mechanism between endogenous innovation and FDI utilization is studied.In the first place,the mutual influences between the endogenous innovation and utilized FDI are analyzed.From the view of micro and macro level,the influence of FDI on the independent innovation is explained.From the perspective of technological potential difference,the impact of endogenous innovation on the FDI is illustrated.In the second place,the synergetic mechanism between the independent innovation and FDI utilization is studied.The coordination modes,such as industry synergy,space synergy and R&D synergy,between the self-oriented innovation and FDI utilization under the synergetic mechanism are put forward.The synergetic paths between endogenous innovation and FDI utilization are pointed out.In the third place,under the Brusselator model,the synergetic evolution between the endogenous innovation and FDI utilization is explored.At last,the theoretical models are put forward to study the relationship between the endogenous innovation and FDI utilization.In the empirical analysis,firstly the mutual influences between endogenous innovation and FDI utilization in the Yangtze River Delta area are studied by using the analysis of time series and regression model.The research result shows that there are mutual effects.Then by using synergetic degree model,the synergetic degrees between the independent innovation and FDI utilization of Yangtze River Delta area,China and the high technology industry of Yangtze River Delta area are discussed.In the Yangtze River Delta area,the changing trend of complex system in Jiangsu province and Zhejiang province was similar.They all showed wave trend and the synergetic degrees in 2016 and 2017 were minus.The synergetic degrees in Shanghai complex system showed continuous descend trend except that in 2004 there was no synergy.During 2004-2016,the two subsystems of China had certain synergy,but the synergetic degrees were not high.In 2017,there was no synergy.The synergetic degrees of complex system between the endogenous innovation and FDI in the Yangtze River Delta area's high technology industry showed that there were synergetic and non-synergetic in Jiangsu and Zhejiang province,but the synergetic degrees were not high.The synergetic degrees of complex system between the endogenous innovation and FDI in Shanghai's high technology industry from 2008 to 2016 showed that there was a non-synergetic trend in all.Finally,the synergetic development countermeasures between the endogenous innovation and FDI utilization in the Yangtze River Delta area are introduced,which include expanding the utilization of foreign capital of high quality,enlarging the foreign companies' export,strengthening training and introduction of talented person,promoting the cooperation between the Yangtze River Delta area and the foreign R&D agency etc.
