Research On The Quality Of Economic Growth And Interfering Factor Of The Yangtze River Economic Belt

China's social and economic development has made remarkable achievements since Reform and Opening Policy,which has become a poor low-income country and transformed into a middle-income country.Its total economic output has risen sharply,making it the second largest economy in the world.However,it should also be noted that problems such as unreasonable industrial structure,imbalanced urban-rural relations and unbalanced regional development have gradually emerged accompanied by rapid economic growth.The widening gap between the rich and the poor,shortage of energy resources and deterioration of the ecological environment have seriously affected the improvement of the quality of economic growth,and the transformation of the mode of economic growth from extensive to intensive is imminent.As one of the current strategies of regional coordinated development in China,the Yangtze River Economic Belt strategy is the most dynamic and potential area for China's social and economic development.In order to promote the high-quality economic development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt,we need to accelerate the structural reform of the supply side,promote the coordinated development of the upper,middle and lower reaches,and achieve a higher quality and more efficient development.Thus,the Yangtze River Economic Belt will become an important pole of regional economic growth in the future,which is of great significance to promote the sustained and healthy development of China's economy.This paper holds that the definition of the quality of economic growth should be accompanied by the development of social productive force,but also according to the different national conditions and circumstances of the world.The evaluation of the quality of economic growth cannot be described by a single index,but should be reflected from multi-dimension and multi-level.At present,China's economic development has entered a new normal and the social situation has undergone new changes.In order to meet the needs of the development of new productive forces,we should be guided by the new concept of development.More importantly,we should pay attention to the five dimensions of economic development,stability and effectiveness,economic structure optimization,ecological environment harmony,economic openness and sharing,and people's happiness.Only by coordinating these five dimensions,can we guarantee the healthy development of regional economy.This paper points out that the total economic volume of the Yangtze River Economic Belt is increasing continuously,but the regional development is unbalanced,and the pressure of resources and environment is becoming increasingly prominent.In 2017,the total economic volume of the Yangtze River Economic Belt reached 37.10 trillion yuan,accounting for 45.33%of the whole country,accounting for about one-fifth of the national territory,contributing nearly two-fifths of the national total economic volume,and becoming an important support belt for the development of regional economy in China.However,due to various factors,the economic development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt also facing the problem of unbalanced economic development and obvious regional diferences.The total economic output and economic quality of the eastern coastal areas are much higher than those of the central and Western regions.In terms of resources and environment in the Yangtze River Economic Belt,the total amount of water resources in the Yangtze River Economic Belt is large,but the problem of water shortage is serious.The pressure of carrying capacity of land resources is too high,and the ecological environment is destroyed.The pressure of resources and environment in the Yangtze River Economic B elt is becoming increasingly prominent.This paper points out that the Yangtze River Economic Belt is an important pole of China's regional economic development strategy.Under the new normal economic situation,we should implement the new development concept,rationalize the relationship between the government and the market through strengthening the top-level design,and realize the optimal allocation of resources,accelerate factor marketization reform,promote industrial structure optimization and upgrading;promote economic opening and sharing,and promote regional integration and cooperation;maintain ecosystem diversity and coordinating the relationship between economic growth and resources and environment;develop and strengthen large city clusters,enhance radiation-driven role and other aspects to promote high-quality economic growth in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.The main innovations of this paper can be summarized into the following three aspects:First,this paper defines the connotation of the quality of economic growth.This paper holds that the evaluation of the quality of economic growth cannot be described by a single index,but should be reflected from multi-dimension and multi-level.At present,China's economic development has entered a new normal and the social situation has changed.In order to meet the needs of the new productive forces,we should,under the guidance of the new development concept,not only increase in quantity,but also pay more attention to the stability and effectiveness of economic development,the optimization of economic structure,the harmony of ecological environment,the opening and sharing of economy and people.The coordinated development of the five dimensions,such as people's well-being,can guarantee the healthy development of regional economy only if the five dimensions promote each other.Secondly,the concept of green development and integration of urban and rural development are innovatively introduced,and a more objective evaluation index system for the quality of economic growth is constructed.Based on the principles of scientific,comparable,contemporary and comprehensive index construction,this paper constructs an index system for evaluating the quality of regional economic growth.It reflects the connotation of economic growth comprehensively and objectively,and reflects the trend of economic development under the guidance of the new development concept.Taking the Yangtze River Economic Belt as the representative,it measures the quality of economic growth from 2000 to 2017.The empirical results show that the quality of economic growth in the Yangtze River Economic Belt has been improving since 2000.In 2000,the quality of economic growth in the Yangtze River Economic Belt scored 0.2690.In 2017,the index scored 0.6161,an increase of 129%and an average annual growth of 1.93%.This shows that since 2000,the quality of economic growth in the Yangtze River Economic Belt has been steadily advancing,but since 2013,the speed of improving the quality of economic growth has slowed down.In all dimensions,the indicators of people's well-being are at a high level of development,and the optimization of economic structure and economic opening and sharing have become the concerns of economic growth in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.In terms of spatial distribution,there are obvious regional differences in the quality of economic growth in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.The urban agglomeration in the Yangtze River Delta is obviously superior to the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and Chengdu-Chongqing city agglomeration.Therefore,when promoting the goal of high-quality economic growth,we should pay more attention to the reality of urban agglomeration development.Through the three major urban agglomerations as the main body,we should radiate the development of relevant provinces and adopt the differentiation strategy to achieve high-growth.Thirdly,this paper analysis the factors affecting the quality of economic growth in the Yangtze River Economic Belt based on the dynamic panel GMM model.This paper argues that six factors,such as investment in science and technology,human capital,industrial structure,urbanization,foreign exchange and policy intervention,will affect the quality of economic growth in varying degrees,and makes an empirical analysis through the dynamic panel GMM model.The results show that human capital and urbanization are the main reasons to promote the quality of economic growth in the Yangtze River Economic Belt,while the investment in science and technology,industrial structure and external exchanges also affect the quality of economic growth to varying degrees,but not very significant.In order to better participate in market competition and better integrate into the market,the Yangtze River Economic Belt should pay more attention to the role of science and technology in economic growth.Through the market,adjust the allocation of resources,and promote the continuous optimization and upgrading of industrial structure,at the same time,the Yangtze River Economic Belt should pay more attention to the role of science and technology in economic growth.Make good use of both international and domestic markets to jointly promote steady economic growth.
