Although great achievements have been made in China's economic construction and technological innovation,the traditional extensive economic development mode relied on resource and environmental problems caused by “high consumption and high pollution”,which has triggered people's thinking about the scientific development mode.As the combination of “innovation driven” and “green development”,green innovation can take into account the requirements of economic growth,resource and energy conservation,and ecological environment protection at the same time.While achieving economic growth,it can effectively reduce the consumption of resources and energy or pollutant emissions,which is the main means to balance economic development and improve resources and environment.Due to the different distribution of natural resources,socio-economic basis and policy-making conditions in different regions,different regions invest different resources in green innovation activities,and the gap of green innovation performance exists objectively.Although increasing the input of green innovation can improve the development of green innovation to a certain extent,with the development of knowledge economy,the performance of green innovation can no longer rely on the input-based development model.It should realize the output benefit as much as possible under the conditions of input factors adapting to the economic society.Therefore,how to improve the performance of green innovation is a question that should be paid attention to in current economic development.Based on this background,this text studies the following four issues: Green innovation performance measurement and spatial temporal difference analysis in different provinces;Analysis on the influencing factors and relationship of provincial green innovation performance;Modeling and Simulation of provincial green innovation system;Research on the improvement path of provincial green innovation performance.The specific research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)The connotation of green innovation performance is defined,and on this basis,the average level of green innovation performance in 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2018 is measured,and the evolutionary laws and differences of green innovation performance are analyzed from two dimensions of time and space.This study believed that green innovation performance covers two dimensions of process and result,which is the integration of conversion efficiency and output efficiency.According to the combination of the two,green innovation performance can be divided into four levels:“high efficiency,high output”,“low efficiency,low output”,“high efficiency,low output” and “low efficiency,high output”.Using the DEA-SBM model and the Entropy method to measure the green innovation performance of 30 provinces in China,the study found that the level of green innovation performance of China's three major regions and provinces is significantly different,the overall performance level is low,and the situation is two-level differentiation.The green innovation performance level in the eastern region is the highest and higher than the national average,and the green innovation performance level in the western region is the lowest.(2)Based on the theory of green innovation system,the influencing factors of provincial green innovation performance are sorted out from both internal and external levels,and these factors are screened and classified through factor analysis methods,and the impact of the classified influencing factors on green innovation performance is analyzed.The study believed that the provincial green innovation system is a complex system composed of the internal green innovation subject and the external environment.This research systematically sorts out the factors that affect the performance of provincial green innovation from the internal and external aspects of the green innovation system,and finally selects 15 influencing factors through factor analysis methods and divides them into green innovation R&D intensity,green innovation collaborative communication,and government support and green innovation environment.Based on the literature research,this study putted forward the hypothesis of the impact of these four factors on green innovation performance,and constructed the path model of influencing factors of green innovation performance by using partial least squares structural equation modeling(PLS-SEM).According to the results of green innovation performance of each province measured in the third chapter,the path test is carried out.The results show that green innovation R&D intensity is the most important influencing factor of provincial green innovation performance,followed by green innovation collaborative communication,and government support and green innovation environment have indirect positive impact on green innovation performance through green innovation R&D intensity and green innovation collaborative communication.(3)Combined with the analysis of the influencing factors of provincial green innovation performance,a provincial green innovation system dynamics model is constructed from the system perspective.Eight key factors of green innovation R & D intensity,government support,green innovation collaborative exchange and green innovation environment are selected to design the path,and the development of provincial green innovation performance under different paths formed by different factors changes is simulated.The simulation results show that: different paths designed based on different key factors can improve the performance level of provincial green innovation in different degrees,and the influence degree from high to low is enterprise green innovation R&D investment,industry university research cooperation,government funding support,R&D institution R&D investment,construction scale of R&D institutions,economic environment,information environment,and opening-up environment The research conclusion can provide a reference for the path selection of provincial green innovation performance.(4)Based on the classification perspective,this text classifies the provinces,and puts forward specific paths and Countermeasures to improve the performance of green innovation in various provinces.By using the Q-type cluster analysis method,the green innovation performance of 30 provinces and 15 influencing factors of green innovation performance are selected as the clustering indicators,and these provinces can be divided into five categories.According to the distribution characteristics of the influencing factors of clustering provinces,the paths and countermeasures for improving the green innovation performance of these provinces are put forward.Based on the above four aspects of content research and research conclusions,we can clearly understand the current situation and progress of green innovation development in China's provinces.By revealing the path of green innovation performance influencing factors,we can provide scientific reference for improving green innovation performance,and propose targeted performance improvement path according to the distribution characteristics of influencing factors in each province and strategy,can provide guidance for promoting green innovation development of provinces.
