Innovation is often regarded as a key to organization survival.Coming intoknowledge economy era,knowledge-based innovation plays an important role in team innovation.Team leadership behavior,which is one of the external factors that affects team knowledge innovation,has always beenconsidered as a critical situational variable.The relationship between leadership and team innovation performance has become a hot issue.However,with the increasingly transparent of information and market,the individual knowledge of leaders has appeared more limitations,the previous "violent and autocratic" leadership style has lost implementary base.Humble leadership is widely respected in both theoretical and practical circles.It is considered to be more suitable for knowledge driven economic environment.There are some researches on the relationship between humble leadership,team performance and innovation,but there is still no research on the relationship with innovation performance,especially the lack of discussion on the team-level role process.The research mechanism is mainly static psychological mechanism,which focuses on the psychological state held by team members in innovation.There is also a lack of systematic research on the important variables such as team knowledge and team learning.This paper,from the perspective of social interaction and meaning construction theory,aims to explore the influence of humble leadership on team innovation performance and its internal mechanism.Based on the perspective of knowledge interaction,this paper constructs a dual action path model of "external acquisition internal sharing",and explores the regulatory role of organizational goal clarity in this process,and further improves the theory of humble leadership At the same time,it provides a new research perspective and practical path for team innovation in the era of knowledge economy.The main conclusions and innovations of this study are as follows:(1)Innovation of research methods: the paper constructs a theoretical analysis framework of the dynamic influence process of humble leadership on team innovation performance from the team level by taking root theory.In the past,the research on the relationship between the humble leadership and the team innovation performance has adopted quantitative research methods.By putting forward the hypothesis construction theory model,the diffusion of the knowledge in the team is emphasized.This paper aims to explore the action process of humble leadership and team members innovation,grasp the dynamic change of knowledge from acquisition and utilization to deconstruction and reconstruction.In order to get rid of the research paradigm of half way narration,this paper uses the root theory method to find the logic between key variables and variables from the qualitative level,and focuses on the production process of knowledge increment within the team.Through theoretical sampling,36 concepts of open coding were extracted from interview data,and 13 more abstract categories,such as clear self-consciousness,appreciation of subordinates and good teaching,were further focused;the organic logical relationship between humble leadership behavior and team innovation performance was formed by the main category of "interaction" through the main axis coding;through selective coding,the formation of the "interaction" was formed to form the following categories“ Humility leadership dominates the mechanism of humble leadership on team innovation performance through the core structure of influencing the interaction of team surface knowledge and promoting the chain influence path of deep learning interaction.(2)Innovation of action path: according to the perspective of knowledge interaction process,the dual action path of "external acquisition internal sharing" is proposed.Previous studies on the relationship between humble leadership and team innovation performance focus on the theoretical perspective of social cognition and information processing,emphasizing that the meaning is obtained by shaping the stable psychological state of the team,without considering that meaning is created in the relationship.Different from these research perspectives,social interaction and social significance construction both emphasize the non-existent meaning,and advocate that "relationship" instead of "individual" as the root of meaning.It emphasizes that meaning is created in social activities,and its potential should be realized through interaction.This paper,based on the theory of social interaction and meaning construction,deduces the production process and generation mechanism of team knowledge in the relationship between them,explains the potential of knowledge interaction for knowledge development,transforms "psychological process" into "interactive relationship process",and constructs a dual action path of humble leadership "external acquisition internal sharing" to team innovation performance.Since then,it has been 64 The data of 308 employees and their direct superiors were tested by the questionnaire.The final results show that humble leadership has a significant positive effect on the knowledge acquisition and knowledge sharing of teams.The double chain intermediary of team knowledge acquisition /team knowledge sharing and team learning behavior has a significant transmission effect between humble leadership and team innovation performance.This study enriches the cognition of the mechanism between Yu Qian leadership and team innovation performance,and reveals the internal relationship from the surface interaction of knowledge sharing to the deep interaction of team learning,which is exactly the process of knowledge stock to knowledge increment.(3)Innovation of boundary conditions: according to the theory of social construction,the paper proposes and verifies the boundary effect of organizational goal clarity in the path of humble leadership 'influence on team innovation performance.The existing literature does not fully consider the boundary conditions of humble leadership in the process of team innovation implementation,which may lack of discussion on the perspective of interaction.Based on the theory of social significance construction(organizational vision and goal,not established by individuals,but shared by all members involved in the dialogue),the paper concludes that the clarity of organizational objectives is in humble leadership team knowledge sharing team The regulation effect in the influence path of learning behavior team innovation performance reveals that both managers and team members can form clearer goals by participating in the goals,while knowledge sharing with higher willingness and higher quality team learning behaviors driven by goals will be generated.The emergence of these behaviors gives higher rationality to the development of common awareness and innovation.The conclusion of this paper enriches the cognition of boundary conditions of humble leadership and team innovation,and has some enlightenments for the construction of team significance.
