In the era of knowledge economy,team innovation concerns the existence and development of organization.How to promote the team innovation has already become the hot issue of current research;to get the answer,we shall make an in-depth analysis of the factors and roles which influence the team innovation.Innovation is not a castle in the air but the recreation based on the previous knowledge.To confirm this,the relevant researches conducted have proved that team knowledge sharing,as a good way to acquire the knowledge,could enable team members to boost their innovation.Yet,so far it has not been clear how team knowledge sharing affects the team innovation.Regarding the team innovation itself,some researchers hold that it is the aggregation of the individual innovation of each group members;while,others maintain that different from individual innovation,team innovation shall be analyzed from the perspective of group high level.This paper integrates the two views above,and examines how self-efficacy innovation and team effectiveness,as the variables of the individual and the group respectively,may probably play their mediation role in team knowledge sharing and team innovation.This paper adopts four scales to test the 581 survey subjects,namely Knowledge Sharing Scale,Self-efficacy Innovation Scale,Team Efficacy Scale and Team Innovation Ability Scale.All data collected are processed and verified with statistic tools of SPSS 23 and Amos 24.Through analysis of the data and structural equation model,this paper examines the latent variables and draws the following conclusions:1.As being highly related to each other,team knowledge sharing can prominently promote the team innovation ability.2.For such promotion,it could be achieved by the partial mediation of self-efficacy innovation.3.Also,it could be achieved by the complete mediation of team efficacy.This research expands the theoretical model of team innovation.Over years,for the study of team innovation,researchers from home and abroad have always focused on the change of mediation variables,which causes the limitation of the models in their explanatory power.To address this limitation,this paper employs the self-efficacy innovation and team effectiveness as mediation variables to investigate team innovation;as the two variables respectively representing the individual and the group factor,the analysis of both will be conducive to future study of team knowledge sharing and team innovation.This research has confirmed the model of partial mediation role in which self-efficacy innovation plays between team knowledge sharing and team innovation and proves the former will exert the positive influence on the latter two.Therefore,more self-efficacy innovation,more team knowledge sharing will be boosted,and thus more powerful will be the team innovation.Meanwhile,this research has found the model of complete mediation role in which self-efficacy innovation plays between team knowledge sharing and team innovation.As a complete mediation role,team effectiveness will contribute to the team knowledge sharing and stimulate the team innovation.
