Study On The Life Values Of The New Generation Migrant Workers

Migrant workers are a very important group in our society.It plays a very important role in the stability of the country’s construction and development.At present,the new generation migrant workers have gradually become the main force in the migrant workers group.Paying timely attention to the problems of their life values is the need for the healthy growth of the new generation migrant workers.It is also the need of national construction and development,and also an important topic of value education.This paper will conduct a systematic empirical study on the life values of the new generation migrant workers in Yunnan Province for the first time.This research is guided by Marxist theory,core socialist values and related discipline theory.This work is based on questionnaire survey method.Starting from the status and influencing factors of the new generation migrant workers’ life values,the author first compiled a questionnaire suitable for the study of the life values of the new generation migrant workers in Yunnan Province.Then,a questionnaire survey and statistical analysis were conducted on the current life values of the new generation migrant workers in Yunnan Province.At the same time,this paper is supplemented by interviews to explore the status and main influencing factors of the life values of the new generation migrant workers in Yunnan Province.Finally,the paper expounds the enlightenments of the research results on the cultivation of the life values of the new generation migrant workers.Questionnaire analysis results show that the life values of the new generation migrant workers are generally healthy,and the pursuit of the value of life is positive.They are eager to get the recognition of others and hope to realize the value of life through their own efforts.While striving hard,they also hope to fully enjoy life.In the goal of life value,what they are most eager to be is to set up a warm home,hope that they have a healthy body,and hope that they have a stable job and considerable income.In the realization of life value,they want to work hard to achieve the life value of through personal efforts,and believe that integrity,self-respect,self-love,self-respect and dedication are the most important quality of life for a person.In the evaluation of life value,they believe that the most important factor in measuring a person’s life value should be knowledge,achievement,talent and character.In terms of the factors influencing of their life values,statistical analysis shows that family factors,social environmental factors and personal factors have a significant impact on their life values.From the empirical analysis of the weight of the influencing factors,the role and weight of the family factor is the strongest,that is,family factor is the most important influence on the life values of the new generation migrant workers.In addition,the combination of social institutional factors and family factors has a stronger impact on the life values of the new generation migrant workers.Interview analysis results show that the value viewpoints in the market economy,popular culture,Western culture,traditional culture and network media all have an important impact to the formation and development of their life values,which make the life values of the new generation migrant workers show the characteristics of diversity,compatibility and instability.But in general,their life values are still positive.They are eager to be recognized by others and the society.Even when they are contributing and cannot be recognized by others and society in a timely manner,they also hope to obtain the final recognition of others and society through their actual actions and achievements.When they are involved in the interests,they tend to consider a way to balance their interests with others,with the collective and with society.The analysis of the problems and causes of the new generation migrant workers’ life values in survey statistics and interviews provides important enlightenments for us to study how to guide the new generation migrant workers to form appropriate life values.Especially,there are many enlightenments to the goals,contents,methods and environments of cultivating of their life values.These enlightenments include: the cultivation of the life values of the new generation migrant workers should be guided by the Marxist theory,guided by the core socialist values,based on the practical problems of their life values and the main purpose is to improve their cognitive ability,judgment ability,evaluation ability and practice ability of life value.In the cultivation methods of the new generation migrant workers’ life values,we should pay attention to the use of the rational guidance for the purpose of enhancing their value cognition and value judgment,pay attention to the use of emotional guidance for the purpose of love and care,pay attention to the use of the role model to close to the practical situation of their life values.In the environments of cultivating the new generation migrant workers’ life values,we should pay attention to optimizing the institutional environment,living environment,cultural environment and media environment.These enlightenments provide some important ideas for us to strengthen the construction of the life values of the new generation migrant workers in the new era and to achieve a comprehensive ideological and political construction.
