| The Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu,compiled by the Siku Compilers,was born in the middle of the Qing Dynasty.At the same time,it systematically sorted out the origin and inheritance of various academic disciplines in ancient China,reflecting the results of collation,discrimination and textual research of scholars at that time,is a comprehensive summary of ancient Chinese academic culture before the 18 th century.The Siku Compilers’ thought of poetry and article criticism is condensed in Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu,along the wave for the source,making a point exactly,has the property of generalization,should occupy an important position in the history of Chinese literary criticism.This dissertation takes Siku Compilers’ thought of poetry and article criticism as the research object,centering on synopsis of anthology section of Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu,combining the academic history,ideological history,political history and literary criticism history of the Qing Dynasty.investigate the Siku Compilers ‘criticism of poetry,article and literary criticism in successive dynasties.summing up their poetic criticism thought and judging its value.This dissertation is divided into seven parts.The introduction part explains the reason and research value of this dissertation,briefly introduces the research status of the Siku Compilers’ thought of poetry and article criticism since modern times,determines the object of this study,scope and research ideas.Chapter one briefly introduces the basic situation of the Siku Compilers and the Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu.The purpose of this chapter is returning to the living historical scene,try to restore the real situation when the Siku Compilers compiled the General Catalogue of the Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu.First of all,it outlines the economic,political,cultural and ideological conditions of the times in which the compilers lived.Secondly,briefly describes the academic background of the the Siku Compilers.Finally,investigate the author attribution and compiling purpose of Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu,in order to lays a solid foundation for discussing the Siku Compilers’ thought of poetry and article criticism.Chapter two studies the Siku Compilers’ criticism of successive poetry and their poetry view.Firstly,starts with a historical perspective,investigates the criticism of the Siku Compilers’ on the poems of the successive dynasties,to clarify their main views on the poetry of the ages.Secondly,explain their ideas about poetry.Start with these perspectives: function view,creation view,Style view,literary form view,for the purpose of get a better understanding of their poetry and article criticism.Finally,through the comments on the three important poetics of historical topics : the Debate on the Reputation of Li Bai and Du Fu,the Controversy on Poems of the Tang and Song Dynasties,the balance of reason and emotion,we can deepen the understanding of their thought of poetry.Chapter three studies the Siku Compilers’ criticism of successive article and their article view.Since the Tang and Song Dynasties Ancient Prose Movement,the differentiation of poetry and prose has become a topic that people like to talk about.Therefore,this dissertation will also pay attention to the analysis of the similarities and differences between them,in order to deepen the research on this topic.Firstly,again,from a historical point of view,to explore the criticism of the articles of the past dynasties.Secondly,discuss the article concept reflected in the criticism of the articles by them.Still,we divide four plates: function view,creation view,style view,literary form view.Thirdly,through the comments on the three important article criticism of historical topics: Dispute of Wen and Zhi,Disagreement between Parallel Prose and Prose,the superiority and inferiority between poetry and article.From their discussion of Those topics we can capture their thought of article criticism.Chapter four explores the Siku Compilers’ criticism of previous dynasties literary criticism works and their view of criticism history.Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu probes into some important literary criticism works in ancient China.,basically constitutes the embryonic form of the history of classical literary criticism,has great value.This chapter firstly explains the Siku Compilers view on the birth,affiliation and classification of the literary criticism.Secondly,analyzes the research of previous dynasties literary criticism works of Siku Compilers.Finally,investigates their view on the paradigm,critical method and function of the literary criticism,with the aim of understanding their view of criticism history.Chapter five explores the legitimacy and its academic history and ideological history value of Siku Compilers’ thought of poetry and article criticism.Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu was born in in the middle Qing Dynasty when Chinese classical culture was highly mature,has the property of integration,give us the opportunity to survey the traditional view of poetry and article.Modern and contemporary scholars tend to study the ancient literature with the perspective of modern view,therefore their conclusions are sometimes far from the truth.The Siku Compilers’ thought of poetry and article criticism can help us go back to the original context,reflect some thought of poetry and article criticism in modern times.,provides enlightenment for future research,it is of high academic and ideological value.The conclusion of the dissertation makes a summary.Evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of Siku Compilers’ thought of poetry and article criticism,then discuss the method that should be used in the study of it.The action of Siku Compilers’ criticism of poetry and article is the biggest of traditional china,with the greatest number of people and books.Most of the Siku Compilers are learned scholars who have keen eyes.They were also in the knot period of Chinese traditional culture,can enjoy the thousands of years of ancient books,draw and accumulate the wisdom of one hundred generations,had a broad vision.As a result,their thought of poetry and article criticism has many strengths.In the same time,their action was always under the control of authority,so its weaknesses are also obvious.In addition,this dissertation has some ideas about what methods should be used when we research the Siku Compilers’ thought of poetry and article criticism,try to indicate a path for future research. |
