As a long-standing Chinese mythology,it has always been an important theme or material for the adaptation and rewriting of Chinese animation works.For a long time,with the change of times and the development of digital technology,Chinese mythology theme animation has shown complex and diverse changes in the historical evolution.However,behind the "change",it is also a manifestation of the considerable progress of Chinese mythological animation in terms of aesthetic concept and artistic style,as well as a witness to the profound heritage and lasting vitality of Chinese excellent traditional culture.This paper takes the animation of Chinese mythology as the research object,diachronically combs the animated texts of Chinese mythology since the 1920 s,and analyzes the artistic representation of the animated texts of Chinese mythology in different times.Taking literature research,comparative research and text analysis as the main research methods,and taking "Noumenon-role-Space-narrative-Prospect" as the logical framework,this paper makes a panoramic carding of Chinese mythology theme animation.The research of this paper,on the one hand,by analyzing the historical context and cultural situation of Chinese mythology theme animation creation in different historical periods,studies its evolution law and artistic style characteristics in each historical process,and explores the cultural theme and artistic concept of Chinese mythology theme animation in each era.In the continuous development and change of Chinese mythology theme animation,this paper refines the modern transformation of Chinese mythology theme animation in three aspects: "modern reconstruction of animation characters","modern spectacle of animation image space" and "modern transformation of animation narrative".And from the social and cultural context and digital technology innovation and other horizontal dimensions of Chinese mythology theme animation in every aspect of the modern transformation to read carefully,to explore the internal and external factors behind the modern transformation of Chinese mythology theme animation.On the other hand,I also hope that with the help of Chinese mythology theme animation as a perspective,with a view to Chinese animation theory research,Chinese mythology research,Chinese animation art creators how to use Chinese excellent traditional culture to create animation,how to better inherit and carry forward Chinese excellent traditional culture,and add new research dimensions and creative perspectives.
