| The questions of what kind of talent should be cultivated and how to cultivate such talents have become the fundamental questions of the high-quality developing of vocational education.In the new era,about the labours’ capability training,it has been changed to focus on labours key competencies.The traditional vocational education has been challenged,therefore,how to explore a creative mode of cultivate the students’ key competencies of vocational colleges in China has become a new task for research in the new era.Basically,the research raises 3 main questions,specifically:What is the current situation of key competencies cultivating modes for vocational college students? How to explore the creative modes for more effectively cultivating the key competencies of vocational college students in the new era? How to oprate and promote the effective modes of key competencies cultivating for vocational college students? Around the 3 main questions,the essay based on the thought of―crash-then-law‖,and followed by the lgocial clue of ―find problem-analyse problem-solve problem‖ to make the research.The detailed procedures and methodologies are mentioned as below:First of all,through the literature searching of domestic and overseas research about key competency,the essay provides the literature review of research on key competency,research on the key competency cultivating of vocational college students,research on key competency cultivating via collaborations between colleges and enterprises,and research on talents cultivating based on higher vocational industrial college mode.It establishes the foundation for the research.Secondly,according to the common points of international standard of key competency for vocational college studnets,the survey and interview outline are designed.Then,the research tries to indicate the exisiting situation of key competency cultivating for vocational college students in China via the questionnaire survey and interviews.It indicates that the existing ―School-centred‖ mode of key competency cultivating is NOT effective enough to meet the requirements.Through the analysis of problems of the current mode to show that the reform is necessary.Thirdly,through the theoretical analysis,the essay presents the key competency cultivating for vocational college students accords not only the demands of individual,but also the demands of education and society,followed by generalizing the trends for mode of talents cultivating for higher vocational education.Based on it,it provides the theory of Skill Formation,the theory of Situational Learning and the theory of Occuptiaonl Competency.In order to analyze their relations with this research questions,it completes the theoretical analytical framework for the essay.This part becomes the theoretical foundation for the reform of exploring the creative key competency cultivating mode for vocational college students.Next,according to the theoretical research on the creative mode exploring about the key competency cultivating of vocational college students,this part compares and contrasts the domestic case study about the key competency cultivating for higher vocational students.Both the theory and practice provides the experiences to reform of mode.After that,based on the theoretical foundations and practical experience,the research presents the industrial college mode for key competency cultivating of vocational college students.The action research method is utilized based on previous statements.Through the action plan designing,implementing,modifying,the achievenments proves the industrial college mode is the answer of mode reform.Last but not the least,for better improve and promote the industrial college mode for key competency cultivating of vocational college students,some suggestions are raised from institutional perspective,organizational perspective as well as individual perspective.According to the research phases showed as above,the achievements of the research are summarized and listed as below:Firstly,―school-centered‖ key competency cultivating mode for vocational college students is NOT effective enough.Because the satisfication for existing mode is low,the reform of mode has been the core mission for key competency of vocational college students cultivating.Secondly,there is theoretical basis to prove the collaboration between colleges and enterprises is the correct direction about reform of key competency cultivating for vocational college students.The theories prove that the effective mode of key competency cultivating for vocational college students must follow the guide of governments’ restrictions,and help students study via real situation to assist them for the lifelong development.The theoretical foundationas shows the collaborations between colleges and enterprises arre the correct direction for mode reform.Thirdly,the practice experiences prove that reforming of key competency cultivating for vocational college students should select suitable mode.The domestic experiences shows,the key competency is a key point for students’ caultivating and collaboration between colleges and enterprises is a common way.Thus,whether the cultivating mode is successful or not is decided by the collaboration meet the requirements or not for both college and enterprise.Fourthly,the industrial college which provides the ―workplace‖ situation is the correct way of key competency cultivating for vocational college students.The therories and practices both prove the exsiting mode is not able to effectively cultivate the key competency for students.A tight and deep collaboration between colleges and enterprises shold be built.Only in such collaboration program,the talent fostering target,the currirulumm & teaching,the faculty and the assessment system could be changed,and then the students are able to build their potential for career development by key competency fosting throught the real-situationalized learning.Industrial college is the answer.Fifth,the action research of industrial college modes for effectively cultivating key competency of vocational college students is overall successful.The industrial college in S vocational college is set up as the target of research,the achievements and experiences proves the industrial college mode is workable.Because of the limited time and large work load,the action research is not perfect;however,based on the 2 round practices,the acheievement could be copied and promoted.Therefore,the action research is overall successful.Lastly,the key competency cultivating mode for vocational college students has more spaces for improvement.Including the government should enhance the policies and registrations guarantee,the colleges and enterprises should establish the industrial college mode of key competency cultivating,and the individual college students should prepare for the career development based on the awareness of lifelong developing.In conclusion,the research essay creatively establishes the theorecical model and practice mode of key competency cultivating for vocational college students,as well as designs the action research plan of industrial college mode for key competency cultivating for vocational college students.Honestly,because of the complexity of key competency cultivating and limitation of research samples,this research is still at the very beginning phase and will improve the width and depth of research,in order to continusly focues on both theoretical research and practice explore for key competency cultivating of vocational college students. |
