With the rapid development of information technology and internet economy,the world economy is entering a new period of upgrading,and the environment of enterprises is becoming more and more complex and competitive.Because business model is one of important influencing factors of enterprise performance improvement and competitive advantage,and it used to explain the enterprise value creation and value acquisition,that has attracted the general attention of academic researchers and enterprise practitioners.However,whether the seemingly diverse and even some unpredictable business models can bring high-level performance and sustainable competitive advantage to enterprises remains to be verified.At present,scholars’ understanding of business model is still in a continuous process.Scholars from different disciplines have discussed the concept,constituent elements,structural model and attributes of business model from different perspectives.Among them,the concept and discussion of business model value type is the mainstream in many business model studies.Interpreting business model from the perspective of value has become a key content in business model research.In recent years,scholars began to turn to the deeper research of business model-excavating the source of value creation,because if enterprises know nothing about the essential attributes of value creation of business model,even if they constantly carry out formal innovation,they can not bring sustainable competitive advantage and long-term stable excellent performance to enterprises.Considering this,this study first defines the relevant concepts of business model from the perspective of value logic,then identifies the key attributes of excellent business model,and explores the action mechanism of the key attributes of business model on enterprise performance,so as to improve and expand the research on the relationship between business model and enterprise performance.Firstly,through literature review and the application of relevant theories,this thesis defines the concept of business model based on the perspective of value logic,defines the business model as a business logic and transaction structure composed of value proposition,value creation,value transmission and value acquisition,and proposes a business model structure model.Then,the key attributes of excellent business model,including novelty,efficiency,value co creation,expansibility and sustainability,are identified through the open-ended questionnaire from management practitioners.The connotation of each attribute is defined by combining with relevant theories,and the influence relationship between different attributes is analyzed.On this basis,the existing business model measurement scale is used for reference and redeveloped according to the new situation.Through empirical analysis,the reliability and validity of the redeveloped business model measurement scale are verified.Finally,according to the literature review and theoretical analysis,this study proposes that the key attributes of business model will have a positive impact on enterprise performance.At the same time,according to the iceberg theory of business model,it proposes that besides the direct impact of business model on enterprise performance,there are also some mechanisms of tacit knowledge influencing business model on enterprise performance,and that dynamic capabilities play a positive role between the two the results show that the mediating effect and the degree of influence will be affected by the environmental dynamics of contingency factors.Through the scientific redevelopment of business model scale and reasonable selection of other variables’ scales,this thesis designs a questionnaire on the relationship between business model,dynamic capability,environmental dynamism and enterprise performance.A total of 445 valid questionnaires were collected through social relations and entrusted research companies nationwide and in different industries.SPSS23.0 and its plug-in PROCESS3.4 and AMOS23 software were used for data analysis.The empirical results show that novelty,efficiency,value co creation and expansibility of business models have significant positive effects on financial performance,among which novelty has the greatest impact,while sustainability has no impact on financial performance;novelty,efficiency,value co creation,expansibility and sustainability of business models have significant effects on market performance,among which sustainability has the greatest impact.In addition,dynamic capability plays a mediating role between the key attributes of business model and financial performance,as well as market performance.Environmental dynamic negatively moderates the relationship between dynamic capability and market performance,but no effects between dynamic capability and financial performance.Finally,according to the results of the empirical study,this study proposes to start with the construction of the key attributes of the business model,strengthen the organic connection between the elements of the business model,enhance the dynamic ability of the enterprise from a dynamic point of view,maintain the flexibility and stability of the business model,so as to comprehensively improve the financial performance and market performance of the enterprise.The main contributions of this study are as follows: firstly,it defines the concept of business model from the perspective of value logic,composition dimension and business model structure model,identifies the key attributes of excellent business model from the perspective of practitioners,and enriches the research on the essence and connotation of business model.Secondly,the business model measurement scale is redeveloped to make it suitable for enterprises operating in the current market environment.Taking the attribute of business model as the starting point,the relationship between the essential attributes of business model and enterprise performance is investigated and verified.Thirdly,combined with the mediating role of dynamic capability and the moderating role of environmental dynamism on the relationship between dynamic capability and enterprise performance,this thesis discusses the influence mechanism of business model on enterprise performance in different situations,and carries out empirical research from different dimensions and industries,which enriches the empirical research results of the relationship between business model and enterprise performance,and also provides guidance for managers to design and implement business model so as to provide theoretical basis and feasible suggestions for the innovation of business model and the promotion of dynamic capability and enterprise performance.
