Under the circumstance of fierce market competition and more personalized of customer demand, new challenges on production technology are faced constantly by clothing, shoes, purses, other enterprise. As one of important tools for clothing, shoes, purses, etc., the quality and cost of products is decided by the performance of cutting equipment. Recently, domestic small and medium enterprises are mainly in the backward state of manual cutting and blanking, the technical transformation of enterprises is limited by the higher price of imported cutting system. It has an important significance to research CNC cutting machine for multi-layered fabric or leather and to improve the market competitiveness and production capacity for small and medium enterprises that has an independent intellectual property rights.Through an analysis of CNC cutting machine research both at home and abroad, the shortcomings of the current cutting system is pointed out, and the corresponding optimization technology is elaborated. The main contents of the paper are introduced at last. Based on the working principle of CNC cutting machine, a general design scheme of CNC cutting system based on PC platform is proposed for the control object and function, and the problem which exists in high quality of cutting machine is extracted.To consider the cutting sequence and outline the knife point position about cutting path optimization, the problem of cutting path is came down to the generalized traveling salesman problem (GTSP). Based on the genetic algorithm optimal TSP problem, a new algorithm of two-level combined optimization which combines improved adaptive genetic algorithm with dynamic programming is introduced, and performance of the algorithm is analyzed.To the problem of feed rate of the artificial selection, the significance and complexity of a reasonable feed rate choice is pointed out. Through the analysis of relevant parameters, a fuzzy optimal control method of cutting feed rate is proposed based on the off-line optimization method, and the rate optimal system is designed. Comparing to the actual processing data, the good performance of fuzzy rate optimization is verified at last.Finally, based on the proposed control system design scheme in the paper, a motion control system of CNC cutting machine based on PC+GT motion control card is developed, and under this platform, both of the path optimal method and feed rate optimal method are realized on the cutting system.
