Research On The Relationship Between Water Environment And Regional Economic Development

Presently, conception of sustainable development has rooted in people's mind, pursuing harmonious development between the economy and the environment aroses people's attantion, how to realize harmonious development of environment, economy, society is one of the hotspots. The paper analyses states of Huaihe basin in Anhui province, studies stressly the relationship between water environment and regional economic development.Firstly, the paper introduces the concept of water environment and the situation of water environment in China, analyses particularly the relationship between water environment and regional economic development: discussing the impact of different development stage of region to water environment, the impact of different industrial structure of region to water environment; the influence of water environmental state on regional development, meaning of water environmental capacity and water environmental carrying capacity in environmental planning. Additionally, introducing several methods of assessing industrial structure, the paper gives an assessment method of Hiberarchy Analysis basing on water environmental protection.Taking region of Huaihe in Anhui province an object, the paper sets forth the relationship between water environment and regional economic development. According to the coordinator theoretics of environment and economy, analyses the coordinator of two main industrial cities in Huaihe basin in Anhui province; studies the harmonious relationship between wastewater discharge and economic development by environmental Kuznets Curve.Finally, studies the relationship of water quality and industry density in Huaihe basin of Anhui province and gives the evidence for regional development in the future.According to the studies of the paper, results indicates great difference of economic development level in Huaihe basin in Anhui province, low-level industrial structure, for protecting the water environment and making economy sustained development, urgent industrial structure adjustment, and gives some strategies promoting the harmonious development between water environment and society-economy.
