Formaldehyde is one of the major sources of enviroment pollution and will do harm to people's health. Finished textile with finishing agent possessing formaldehyde or N-hydroxymethyl group would release free formaldehyde during the course of processing and wearing. So laws were established to restrict the content of formaldehyde and China also publicized compellent standard GB18401 aimed at such condition. Nowdays, in the field of flame retarding finishing, the most widely used flame retarding agent is CFR - 201 which has a N-hydroxymethyl constructure and consequently will release formaldehyde. And 2D resin, as the most widely used DP agent is unstable and will hydroly/e so as to release formaldehyde after finished onto cellulose fiber. Etherized 2D resins are of a lower release of formaldehyde while DP effect decrease either. At the same time, other formaldehyde-free DP agents are of higher cost and lower effect than 2D resin. Based on this condition, in this thesis , we developed a series of durable bifunctionalformaldehyde-free creasing inhibiting and flame retarding agent C and a durable creasing inhibiting agent ZDP utilized on cellulose fiber.We first synthesized aminomethylphosphonic acid and Compound-P containing three alkene bonds at least.With these two compounds we developed a series of formaldehyde-free durable creasing inhibiting and flame retarding agent C and ZDPC which were mixtures and utili/ed directly onto cellulose fiber without further purification. The finishing conditions were discussed and the best finishing condition was chosed. According to GB/T3819-1997, GB/T391 7. 1-1997, GB/T 5455 -1997 et al., the wrinkle recovery angle, tensilestrength properties and whiteness index of the treated cotton samples and a control sample of cotton were measured. The results showed:Compared with 2D resin , ZDP and ZDPC embodied more excellent DP property than 2D resin meanwhile its cost was lower than 21) resin: wrinkle recovery angle of the treated samples were bigger than 2D resin, the tensile strength decrease of the treated samples was slighter and the white index was better than 2D resin. We are sure that ZDP can replace 2D resin.While owning excellent durable crease inhibiting property, agent ZDPC possessed excellent durable flame retarding property: its indexes of afterflame time, afterglow time and damaged length were better or the same with flame retarding merchandise CFR - 201 and can be used as a formaldehyde-free agent .
