With the rapid developement of modernization of TCM and the requirement of scientific and reasonable usage of drug ,the reform on TCM dosage form becomes very necessary. But the essential precondition is the extraction and refinement of active substances owing to the complex chemical ingredients. Some new methods and technology ,which assure internal quality and the clinic curative effect, make the studies in this field further. It is not noly a significant task but also a prime problem to get high quality half-production and extract effective substances completely.Naodesheng is made up of Flos Radix Puerariae,Carthami, Rhizoma ChuanXiong, Fructus Crataegi,Radix Notoginseng, and. The basic active substances and actions have been defined. The active sections are gypenosides, alkaloids, flavones, terpenoids etc. The content of active substances is low by the extract method in Pharmacopeia of 2000 edition. These active substances was divided into three sections to be extracted according to active substances physical and chemical characteristics. And Uniform Design was introduced to optimize the conditions. The extract efficiency was enhanced by using the technic of cellulose enzyme. The adsorbing separation process of Macroporous Adsorpion Resin was used to purify these active sections.Parameters of static and dynamic and the effect of inorganic salt upon adsorption were studied. The quantitative index were Puerarin, Safflor yellow,Ginsenoside. The per content of these active ingredients in the half-production was above 70 percent. And it provide a good foundation for the process of sustained/controlled-release tablet.
