Underground pipe networks are the important infrastructure in one region , urban and lager petrifaction enterprise, which has many fuctions, including .offering heat,gas and water Because so many factors affect safety running of underground pipe networks , which causes management difficult and occurs safety accident of underground pipe networks occasionally. It's a urgent problem in engineering of how to build safety management of underground pipe networks and develop corresponding information system, which can quickly query various information of underground pipe networks and offer help of decision making for science management and dealing with urgent accident.. This dissertation has developed safety management of underground pipe networks by using GIS(Geographical Information System) technology., including:1) Based on analyzing main invalid mode of underground pipes, this dissertation has built fault tree model and developed a analyzer by using this possible invalid mode, which can be used to get main invalid mode of underground pipes and important management parts qualitatively and quantificationally, according to the result of surveying some underground pipes2) This dissertation has analyzed management mode of underground pipes. According to requirement of information management for underground pipes, this dissertation has also analyzed requirement analysis of system, designed overall construct and subsystem fuctions.3) Designing conception model of space data and organization model for underground pipes, building highly effective and reasonable space database. This dissertation has studied the interface between space database of underground pipes and information property database of safety management, which made system integration between GIS and data of safety management without any barrier.4) By using developing tools of Mapobject offered by ARCGIS, it has developed safety management of underground pipes.. This system is a linkage of map and letter and generally satisfies demand of synthesis query and maintenance of management departments of underground pipes.
