As the in-depth development, the application of 3S technology has permeated into many research fields. Wetland science has become an important discipline in the world. 3S technology is used as a new technology and new method to investigate wetland resources, list inventory, monitor and evaluate wetland environment quality, recover retrogressed wetland and protect wetland. So monitoring and assessment on wetland eco-environmental quality based on 3S technology has become one of the current research focuses in china and abroad.The wetland eco-environmental quality assessment index system involves many indexes, and the result of wetland eco-environmental quality assessment should reflect the spatial pattern of wetland eco-environmental quality. The analysis hierarchy process (AHP) has the special advantage in multi-indexes evaluation and the 3S is good at spatial analysis. The combination of 3S with AHP will develop the capabilities of each method fully and will improve the level of wetland eco-environmental quality assessment.Yeyahu wetland natural reserve in Beijing is a typical wetland area. The main issue in this thesis is to investigate its natural environment, natural recourse, and the change of wetland landscape with the help of 3S technology, analysis wetland landscape structure using relative principles of landscape ecology and fractals. Based on the technical line and work flow of evaluation, a monitoring technology system and an assessment indicator system of wetland eco-environmental quality are presented for the current situation assessment of typical wetland. Some constructive advices are presented based on the result of current assessment at last. In detail, the main research work and achievement includes: (1)The assessment of wetland eco-environmental quality is defined in detail. The theory, technology, assessment flow and process are also presented.(2)Based on 3S technology, the data of yeyahu wetland eco-environmental quality assessment are obtained, processed and analyzed in thesis.(3)Based on landscape ecology principle, the spatial pattern of yeyahu wetland landscape is analyzed, the evolution mechanism and reasons of yeyahu wetland landscape are explored and dissected. All these present evidences for the planning & evaluation of yeyahu wetland landscape, the rational utilization & sustainable development of wetland resources and the restoration & reconstruction of yeyahu wetland.(4)The current eco-environmental quality of yeyahu wetland is assessed. Based on the result of assessment, the functional divisions of yeyahu wetland nature reserve are redesigned.(5) The basic thoughts of yeyahu wetland restoration & reconstruction are presented, and the planning map of wetland restoration & reconstruction is also designed.As an important development trend in GIS, 3S technology will extend its research field, and will improve the quality and efficiency of wetland research.
