The Analysis On The Technology And Economy Of Cam Grinding Process & The Research On The Innovation Way

This paper researches the best way to innovate the cam grinding process and its cam finish grinder –West Germany grinder which belong to the production line of camshaft of CHANGAN Automobile Corporation. This paper analyzes the technology, the economy of the cam grinding process and the existing production circumstances for working out and choosing an advanced and appropriate innovation way to bring the potential capability of the West Germany grinder into full play in order to promote the efficiency and increase the economic benefit. Camshaft is one of the important parts on the automobile engine. Cam grinding process is the key process to the camshaft machining. West Germany grinder is an imported and expensive cam finish facility. This paper explains the origin of the thesis. To work out and choose an advanced and appropriate innovation way, this paper analyzes and realizes the present status and development tendency of the cam grinding technology, and the important factors among the cam processing technology. To increase the economic benefit that is the final aim, this paper, combining a lot of material, data and production practice, analyzes and realizes the economy of the cam grinding process. This paper also gives full realization to the existing production circumstances, technology condition and the facility status, and especially the structure, character of the West Germany grinder. The realization to the cam grinding process and involved technology are raised through analyzing the technology, economy, existing production circumstances, facility status and process problem. On these basements, many innovation ways are put forward, and all the ways are given more analyze and evaluation. Using the Analytic Hierarchy Process, one of the decision-making methods, the CBN-wheel grinding way is determined and recommended as the innovation way.
