With the development of the society and civilization,the innovation of technology is needed in food processing industry. Color sorters are widely used in the corn sorting industry because its particular but efficient sorting procession. In this article, the design of the sorter's control system is not only presented but also implemented.After the sorter's principle is explained, the sorter's control system design is brought forward that a master DSP processor works with several slave ones. The master processor controls the sorter's peripheral equipment. One slave processor is engaged in processing CCD sensor's output signal in optical detecting system and driving equipment to get rid of the unqualified grain. At same time, Fuzzy control technology is applied to the system auto-adjustment in order to enhance the sorting ability. The Fuzzy control system is simulated to prove its feasibility. How to driving the CCD sensor, how to process the sensor's output signals and how to drive equipments to get rid of unqualified grain are three focuses in a slave processor. In the last chapter, being based on the DSP particularity, all of the designs are implemented in hardware and software.
