Design Of Rice Color Sorter Basing On DSP (Signal And Its Processing Parts)

This paper is to renovate and upgrade the technology of rice color sorter designed and developed by domestic manufacturers, aiming at overtaking the advanced level in the world, and using the advanced technology and design approaches for reference from a rather high jumping-off point. And also, this paper is attempting to launch out the academic research work for the new type of rice color sorter, taking the difficulty of realizing, the acceptance of the market of sorter, the status of electrical components and the mechanical industry and so on, into account.This paper introduces the operating principle and working process of the typical color sorter, and the status of the fashionable color sorters of the domestic and the foreign manufacturers, and then, designs the rice color sorter based on the TMS320LC549 DSP, using the linear CCD, IL-P3-B, for rice light intensity receiver, and the sorting system controlled by the MCU. The detailed parts in this paper are that, the optical imaging, the space structure of the optical system, the choice of CCD and its driving circuit, the appliance of FIFO device, the high speed A/D conversion, the appliance of translating transceiver, design of the DSP based circuit, design of power supply.Besides that, this paper also details the data acquisition process, the design principle of software, allocation of resources of TMS320LC549, the factors influencing the performance of the rice color sorter, design of anti-interference of the whole system and etc. Limited by the length of the paper and the time, the connection between TMS320LC549 DSP and the succeeding sorting system controlled by the MCU, and etc, is not detailed.The author has designed the software and hardware of the data processing part of the rice color sorter based on TMS320LC549 independently, and the succeeding design is mentioned simply also, and it is worthy of using for further research.
