Research & Development Of 3D Standard Mould Base Library Of Injection Mould CAD For Plastics Based On UG Platform

With the development of CAD technique, CAD of injection mould for plastics plays a more and more important role in mould design and processing efficiency. The design of mould can be finished rapidly by using the standardized mould parts after confirming the project according products. More advanced mould structures are developed and product development time is reduced. CAD system of three-dimensional standard mould base library of injection mould for plastics based on UG software is researched and developed.Firstly the background and main research content of the thesis are described, the main technique properties of UG software is introduced and UG redevelopment technique is emphasized , then the components of standard mould base library of injection mould are introduced, their characteristic dimensions are parameterized and the variables are defined, in succession the total design frame of standard mould base library of injection mould is described, and the system structure for standard mould base library of injection mould based on UG software in the development environment of Visual C++.NET is presented. Lastly the establishment method of standard mould base library of injection mould for plastics is introduced by the setting of environment variables, dialogs building, menus customizing and programming, it involves the management of database and features, solutions to the drafting and assemblies such as bottom-up, top-down and explosion.According to the type, width, serial number and length of mould bases, the assemblies and explosion drawings are created automatically in the system.
