The paper viewed the process history of sulfur recovery,illustrated its importancein enviroment protection。Also,it introduced the theory,process,affect factor andcat.application as well as its present process condition。The essay also put somewords on the meaning and present condition of off-gas treatment and the theories andcharacteristics of various processes of off-gas treatment。Then,it introduced someways to ensure off-gas discharge to meet the demand。 The paper deeply studied and analyzed the present condition of No.2 sulfurRecovery Unit of Jinxi Petrochemical Company,put forward the causes of its lowsulfur recovery rate and off-gas discharge failing to reach the required demand,theseare as follows,the air supply control method is backward,the cat.performance islow,the process has unreasonable problem and problems in off-gas treatmentequipment 。 The related optimization programme include to apply acidgaschromatography online control programme to optimize air supply,to combine fillingcat.Ls-971 and Ls-300 in Claus sulfur recovery section to increase sulfur conversionrate,to add up SSR off-gas treatment process to ensure qualified discharge,and alsothe overall optimization methods to the processes of Claus sulfur recovery sectionand off-gas treatment section。 On the basis of introduction the implement of above optimization methed and itsreal effect analysis,the essay draws a conclusion that the optimization programme geta satisfactory effect,it is successful。And,it points out that due to overall optimizationprogramme is applied,the unit remains to be optimized deeply to ensure its varioustech and economic standards more advanced and in the same time to meet the futuremore strict enviroment protection demand。...
