Jin Duicheng open pit, the largest molybdenum open pit of China, lies in Hua county Shan Xi province. Nowadays, Jin Duicheng open pit has heavy production mission, and the safe production position is extremely austere. Developing technique is the best way to ensure safety. Rational programming and developing open pit's safety technique are all pressing, because both of them are of great significance to Jin Duicheng open pit.Jin Duicheng open pit is a large and complicated system, the main hazardous and harmful factors of the system must be distinguished before safety assessment. This paper analyses several familiar accidents of open pit and find out the causes of them based on spot research and assessment of hazardous and harmful factors and combining the actual complexion of Jin Duicheng open pit, and at the same time this paper analyses the main professional harm of deep non-coal open pit. In the process of assessment, the whole open pit system is divided into there assessment units firstly according to accident theory, such as slope maintenance unit, safety management unit, blasting unit and ore transportation unit. Fuzzy mathematics theory is used and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is introduced into the safety assessment of open pit system. According to the principle of defining the weight of factors of safety assessment factors, a qualitative and quantitative method of AHP is used to define the weights of safety assessment factors of deep non-coal open pit, which reflect the important extent factors to open pit current situation scientifically and reasonably. Through comparing and analyzing, and on the basis of the multistage fuzzy mathematics theory, an excellent fuzzy comprehensive operator is selected.In this paper, combining the actual complexion of Jin Duicheng open pit, analyze and evaluate the harmful effect during the production of deep non-coal open pit, and offer a series of effective controlling technique, and introduce fuzzy comprehensive evaluation into the safety assessment of open pit, it is of some actual significance, and at the same time it offers basic material for safety supervising departments, so they can know well of the safety actuality of mine enterprise and bring out control macroscopically.
