This paper mainly introduces the application of reverse engineering in a fan mould with complex surface. Applying the mould cavity of Pro/E ,the design of key parts of the injection mould and the re-develop in allusion to fan and some parts of the injection mould are accomplished. This way wholly innovates the traditional design method of fan mould.The main task in this paper is as follows: Firstly using the Coordinate Measuring Machine to measure the fan sample. Secondly processing the date gathered above, analyzing the geometry construction of part and forming the CAD model. The analysis of the blade construction is one of most important contents in this paper. Thirdly selecting the material of the part and the injection machine and finishing designing the injection mould of the fan. Finally applying Pro/TOOLKIT to compile the program,finishing the re-develop. During the course of using a way of analyzing sections to do geometrical reconstruction of blades, a new way by adjusting is put forward to select new date points as objects researched. This method will get more accuracy result. The application of Pro/E greatly improves the degree of precision in design and shortens the period of product development. The purpose of the re-develop is just to satisfy particular demands in some parts, and meantime it can overcome the shortcomins of Pro/E as general purpose software.
