| With the rapid development of the plastics industry, the application of the injection mold technology has become increasingly widespread. It is toward the high-speed, precision, long life, short cycle, low cost and high output direction. Combined with reverse engineering technology and CAD/CAE/CAM integration technology can get injection mold design, mold flow analysis and manufacturing processes, and can greatly improve the efficiency of the mold design and processing quality, shorten the production cycle, reduce production costs and so on. Therefore, the combination of reverse engineering and CAD/CAE/CAM technology in injection mold industry receives more and more attention.This paper introduces the research status and development trend of the injection mold technology and reverse engineering, and analyzes the application studies of the reverse engineering and CAD/CAE/CAM technology in injection mold process. This paper mainly based on the actual example, with the computer as the platform, complete reverse design of real and study design, analysis, manufacturing of injection mold. The main contents are as follows:This paper first introduces the reverse engineering technology and related software, expounds the selected measuring equipment and the working principle, and analyzes the general process of reverse engineering technology. Elaborates the scanning of the 3D optical scanner for the spare part, finish the reverse process of part.Then, this paper introduces the basic theory and principle of injection mold design, mold design module in Pro/E software is used to design the structure of mould. In the design process has completed the cavity number, parting selection, core and cavity and the choice of the standard mold and so on.After that, the injection mold CAE technology and Moldflow software are introduced in detail, and the best gate location, filling, cooling and warping are analyzed by Moldflow software. This paper focuses on the comparison of cooling analysis for the design of two kinds of different cooling pipe, gets the optimal scheme. Meanwhile, the main reason for the warpage is analyzed, and by changing the pressure curve to reduce the warping deformation, thereby reducing the warpage, to achieve the purpose of optimization.Finally, Using the CNC machining module of UG software for the core of injection mold conducted process simulation, determine the process and generate NC program, finishing the numerical control machining simulation on a computer. |
