Gear measuring is very important in precise measurement. With the evolution of optics, mechanics, electronics and computer technology, gear measuring technology is more consummate. The gear measuring include complex error measuring and monomial error measuring. The monomial error measuring has been used widely, because it can have a good guidance in machining techniques. The gear measuring based on coordinate method can finish the measurement with a high precision. So, studing the evaluating system of gear measuring has very important practical meaning.This thesis start on the detailed analysis of the GB/T10095-2001 .It based on the theory and technology of gear measuring presently, use the coordinate measuring technology as studying method. The thesis looks the gear measuring via establishing mathematics model as target, developed the data appraisal system which based on coordinate measure method.First, after studying the basic theory of column gear measurements, making the gear measurement center as the hardware platform, analyzing the curve equation of column gear, the gear measuring data processing mathematical model is established. Using least square method, the mathematical model of the error appraisal is established, and studied the monomial errors data processing and appraisal means based on coordinate means. Designed the software, and debugging the appraisal system, using C++ Builder as development tool. The testing show the development is successful.Then, based on the column gear measurement ,analyzing the machining principium of the Spiral bevel and hypoid gear, according to the machining theory of spiral bevel and hypoid gears, gear mesh theory and kinematics theory, the mathematic model of tooth surface is established. The measuring grid layout on the theoretical tooth surface use rotating projecting method. Using least square method, eliminated the effect of the measurement reference point. The thesis achieved the tooth surface measuring and evaluating of spiral bevel and hypoid gears based on coordinate method. The testing show the means is accurate.
