The Research Of Machine Tool For Rail

With the diversification of the modern manufacture, people paid more and more attentions to promoting the functions of the control system. PLC (Programmable logic controller), based on computerized microprocessor and memorize, was an equipment generally applied in industry controlling. Because of its lower cost of control, higher reliability, easier facility of program and higher flexibility and so forth, PLC was abroad applied.Aiming at laggard complexion of machining rail in one weld rail factory, this paper presented and designed a machining tool for removing rust ,which had some characteristics including high automation degree, production efficiency, dependability and manipulation, and then, devised its machine organs, hydraulic pressure system and electric controlling part. This tool was mainly composed of emery cloth grinding head for machining the coping of rail, emery cloth grinding head for machining the bottom of rail, brushing wheel, grasping device and absorbing dust setting and so forth. In this paper, the things including machine design, movement control and electric operation of every important component were concretely demonstrated and described a detecting method practiced in factory instance.When it comes to electric controlling part, this system took the FX2N series PLC of the Mitusbush corporation as the core of this control system, this also made the control system more reliable and dependable, the operation more convenient and brief and the function more strong. Through developing this machine tool, it completely changed the laggard and inefficient technique of machining rail in this factory and introduced a solving measure which was relatively efficient, advanced and credible for removing the rust of the rail and brushing its section.
