The rapier loom is one of the most extensive shuttleless loom now. As a significant compositive part of the rapier loom, electronic let-off system has been developing fast recent years, and is substituting for mechanical let-off system for its advantages of performance. At present, almost all the imported loom is equipped with electronic let-off system. Electronic let-off system overseas is well developed, while the research in China is on the underway stage. So study and exploitation to the electronic let-off system with highly cost effective has significant meanings on shortening the gap between the similar products abroad and domestic as well as on improving the mechatronics level of national textile industry. With the growing up of magnetic flow vector control technique of AC asynchronous motor, the performance of AC Speed Governor System has been improved a lot, its performance even exceeds DC Speed Governor System. As the imported electronic let-off system is very expensive, this dissertation tries new solutions that design electronic let-off system based on AC asynchronous motor vector control scheme, which can reduce the cost on the precondition of assuring the high performance of system.This dissertation mainly introduces the design and implement of electronic let-off control system based on the vector control of AC motor. The content is as bellow:1. Analyzing the characters of electronic let-off system, compareing existing electronic let-off system, then bringing up the purpose and content of this subject.2. Analyzing different sorts of warp tension, especially analyzing the affection of the five movements on warp tension, which provide elementary theory for designing the control system.3. Introducing the multivariable coupled mathematical model of AC motor, and simplifying the model by conversion of coordinates, and further introducing the principle of AC motor vector control.4.
