With the develop of electric power & electron technology, micro-electronics and control theory. servocontrol system has made a rapid progress iii engineering application. The main traits of this are the distinguished efticiency of drive capability and eminent control characteristic. Having the strongest adaptability?in shuttleless looms, the Rapier Loonfs developmental tendency is rapider, more intelligent. niore reliable and suitable to consumers. The application of servocontrol technology in let-off & take-up motion. which is the main parts of a rapier loom, is the study direction on advanced looms. This dissertation focuses on the demand for the let-otT & take-up Ilmtion to match with the advanced looms. It P~OPOSCS applying IPC to improve the control capability of a rapier loom ans servocontrol system to advance let-off & take-up motion抯 transmission. It also designed a fuzzy control method and tLl7zv control method by parameter self-decided for solving tension control. The main ideas in every chapter is as follows: The first chapter expounds the purpose of this dissertatioii firstly and summarizes the literature about the dlevelopment about let-off &take-up motions . atler that, the research proposed the advantages and ke~?points of them based on servocontrol. The second chapter introduces the main parts of F6A732 rapier looms. After then, electrical and electronic control system of weaving machine and software are designed. The third chapter finishes some research on let-off &take-up notions based on servocontrol and theii designed them. The specific application in engineering and tension control are also introduced. The forth charpter finishes some research on fuzzy comitroller and fuzzy PhD controller base on parameter self-decided and then using MATLAB to emulate them. At last. this paper summarizes the main fruits and conclusion and prospects the future of scrvocoiitrol and P1 D control.
