This paper mainly researches on the coal's spontaneous combustion in the adjacent goaf of Panyi Mine 2631(3) driving roadway along goaf.Firstly, the influence of the gas-fat coal's formation in Panyin Mine on the coal's spontaneous combustion is investigated, and the tendentiousness level of the Panyi Mine's coal layer's spontaneous combustion is concluded as type Ⅱ,based on the coal's oxygen absorption experiment.Secondly, through theoretical analysis on the lossed coal's heat accumulating process and its affecting factors, the mathematical model of the lossed coal's spontaneous combustion is founded;the distribution of this goaf's temperature field and the speed field influenced by the wind leaked out from 2631(3) windward laneway's driving face is simulated by applying the FEA software Fluent. The result shows that, without taking any measures, when the tunneling in 2631(3) windward laneway driving face runs to the ninetieth day, high temperature appears, the highest point of which is about 48℃ .Thirdly, the experiment on sample coal's oxidation in low temperature is investigated and the right index gas for the spontaneous combustion in this goaf is ascertained.Finally, a comprehensive method of preventing and extinguishing fire is put forward, supplementing the chief technique of infusing nitrogen with the techniques of jetcrecte, plugging and continuous supervision on fire disaster, thus the safety of production in the mine is guaranteed.
