Chemiluminescence (CL) method has been widely used in many fields due to its inherent high sensitivity, wide linear range, simple instrumentation. However, it is well known that a serious problem in CL analysis is its poor selectivity, which makes it impossible to determine analytes in the complicated samples directly. Great efforts have been made to overcome this shortcoming and the most common solution to the problem is to combine the CL method with some separation techniques such as liquid chromatography and capillary electrophoresis, but these methods required relatively complicated and expensive instruments. Therefore one of the most urgent and significant works is to improve selectivity of the CL method.Molecular imprinted polymer (MIP) is an important molecular recognition material appeared in recent years. MIP has a predetermined selectivity for the target molecule and its excellent recognition ability to the target molecule is comparable to antibody-antigen and enzyme-substrate natural recognition system. If MIP was used as the recognition material in CL analysis, when a sample solution flows through the MIP, the analyte would be separated from coexisted substances and pre-adsorbed on the MIP, then the chemiluminescence reagents flow through the MIP for CL determination, the selectivity of CL method will be improved greatly. This thesis includes a review and a research section. The review includes the basic principles of molecular imprinting polymer (MIP), highlights the development with preparation and application of MIP in the recent years. In the research section, the post-chemiluminescence (PCL) phenomenon of phenothiazine medications in potassium ferricyanide-luminol system and potassium permanganate-luminol system was discovered. The MIPs of chlorpromazine hydrochloride and perphenazine were synthesized. Using these MIPs as recognition material, molecular imprinting-chemiluminescence (MI-CL) methods were established, and the methods had been applied to the determination of chlorpromazine hydrochloride and perphenazine in complex samples with satisfactory results. The possible reaction mechanism of phenothiazine medications in potassium ferricyanide-luminol system was...
