It was studied systematically that the unit process of Microwave-assisted extraction process for the total isoflavones from pueraria lobata firstly, and obtaining pueraria starch from its filter cake, then separation and purification of pueraria isoflavonds and puerarin with macroporous resins in this paper. The studies showed that:By single factor and orthogonal experiments, the primary and secondary order of effect of the factors Microwave-assisted extraction process for the total isoflavones from pueraria lobata was confirmed: alcohol concentration> ratio of solid to liquid> microwave power> radiation time; The optimum process condition was confirmed that the highest extraction yield of total isoflavones of 83.92% could be obtained when microwave power was 700 w, alcohol-water solvent concentration 60%, ratio of solid to liquid 1:25, three times of radiation and 40s for each time at normal pressure. And compared with the normal reflux and ultrasonic extraction methods, microwave-assisted extraction has the advantages of faster extraction, lower energy consumption and higher extraction yield.After filter cake obtained from Microwave-assisted extraction process for the total isoflavones from pueraria lobata was simply extracted and separated, the content of pueraria starch of 92.21 % could be obtained, its yield was 38.53%, and most of pueraria starch could be recovered through the process.It were compared that the ability of adsorption and separation to pueraria isoflavonds of five different type of macroporous resin by means of static adsorption test and dynamic test, It shows that the total ability of low pole AB-8 resin was superior to the other macroporous resin. The adsorption kinetics curves of the adsorption of pueraria isoflavonds by AB-8 resin in centidegree 30 was simulated and served with both of the Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms equations, the result showed that the process was described better with Langmuir isotherms equations.All process conditions influencing on the process of separation and purification pueraria isoflavonds with AB-8 resin were investigated in detail, the optimum...
