Abstract/Summary:
As long as the opening up and utilization people have done to the ocean, antifouling technology has been put into practice in an extended area. Among all those antifouling technologies, acrylate antifouling pint which has the self-polish function is one of the those which have potential abilities. However, because acrylate copolymer has the problems of high temperature of filming forming and weak toughness in low temperature, there are limitations in this coating's characteristics. This paper uses the method of core-shell emulsion polymerization to produce the high temperature of film forming and the film with the characteristic of lower temperature of forming. Meanwhile, with the knowledge of the unique characteristic of the functional monomer's average layout on the surface of latex, this paper develops and deal with the acrylate antifouling's peculiarities.Based on the core-shell emulsion theory, this paper has made up the formula ingredients for core-shell emulsion, including the choice of soft monomer and hard monomer the ratio of it, the amount of emulsifiying agent, initiator and other assistant ingredients and the formula methods. Through the test result for the emulsion's capacity, this paper discusses the reasons which affect the core-shell emulsion and in the end, get the best solution for the core-shell emulsion. After that, through the testing methods like FIRT, XRD and DSC, this paper analyzes the structure and peculiarity for the emulsion and proves the fact that using the method here suggests could produce the more ideal core-shell emulsion both structurally and functionally. To add Zn2+ into the prepared core-shell acrylate emulsion and make the zinc acrylate copolymer, this paper researches the density of Zn2+ influence on the film.It has found out the founctional monomer-COO-could crosslink with Zn2+ , and it could produce the founactional regiment with the character of antifouling.And along with the increasing of the density of Zn2+, the coating's regular function has been affected, which is the increasing of the hardness of the coating, while the decreasing of the...
