The rationality of the work equipment of the scraper will affect directly the performance of whole machine and it is very important to improve the efficiency and the level of automatization of mining loading.The 3D modeling of the work equipment is accomplished in the Pro/E software, the virtual assembly of the work equipment and 3D visualization interferential checking and the kinetic locus analysis are completed.By means of the software ADAMS, the multi-rigid bodies virtual prototype machine is built for the work equipment. Characteristic curves of the work equipment are obtained. Based on these investigations, the virtual prototype machine coupling rigid bodies with flexible ones is established eventually. By comparing the corresponding simulation results from the latter with those of the former, it is shown that the virtual prototype machine with flexible bodies is more accordant with the physical prototype machine than the former.The theory of satisfactory-optimization is used in the design of the working device, getting the results of optimization with the aids of BP neural network and Genetic Algorithm, and the validity of the optimization is verified by the optimize result.
