Research On International Competitiveness Of Fertilizer Industry In China

Along with the process of globe economic intergration quickening, the improvement of international competitiveness of industry has become matters of common concern for all the countries. The study and discussion for this field have very important practical significance.After nearly one hundred years of developing , the production of fertilizer in China has obtained great progress,being the biggest country for production and utilization of fertilizer in the world.By calculating all kinds of index of international competitiveness of fertilizer industry in China , we find that Chinese international competitiveness of fertilizer industry isn't powerful except for specific fertilizer production.So we can make conclusion that China is a big country in producing fertilizer but not a powerful country.In this study , it has transformed Professor Porter 's"Diamond Model",has set up the analysis frame of international competitiveness of fertilizer industry,made it meet the reality of analysis on the international competitiveness of fertilizer industry.According to the analysis,it states that resource factors,demand conditions, technological innovation, industry organization and government action are the determinats for international competitiveness of fertilizer industry in China.Finally , this article give an detailed analysis for main determinants and based on it puts forward effective suggestions for improvement of international competitiveness of fertilizer industry in China.
