The computer batching control system is one of the most important parts in the batching process control and quality control, and it is also technologically important way of achieving production automation, scientific management on the enterprises, safe and stable production and energy-saving and consumption-reducing.This article has illustrated the study and design on the computer batching control system of DCS-based blast furnace on the basis of the structure of Zinc batching system, batching precision, hardware and software designing of batching control system. Therefore, it is more representative and has the profound significance to solve the bottle-necking problems—low system batching accuracy of the blast furnace, which has long been troubling the industries.The blast furnace batching control system mentioned in the article is on the basis of the computer-controlled batching system of the old nuclear scale and on the recent development of new-type sensor technology, metering technology of weighing apparatus, network technology as well as communication technology, some analysis has especially been made on the structure of batching control system of the blast furnace, the factors affecting the accuracy of the batching system and the hardware and software systems of the batching control system as well. A new way of batching for the blast furnace has been designed in combination with the way of static batching of the funnel scale and the dynamic way of batching of electric velt scale together with the addition of different types of material. In addition to the above-mentioned ones, a more detailed illustration has been made on how to improve weighing precision based on this way of metering as well as the batching accuracy of the whole system. Meanwhile, the research on the distributed DCS system has already been completed , which is centralized on this new way of batching, and the "Yanhua" computer is arranged to be the main station and SIEMENS PLC as the main control station, frequency-variable as feeding control equipment and the independent distributed equipment will be connected to a system by PROFIBUS-DP bus on the plant site and the configurated software will be adopted by the process monitoring operating station and a real-time monitoring control will be done to the whole system.
