China is a country with abundant bamboo resource and a long history of utilizing bamboo in the world. The category of bamboo, the planting area of bamboo of china rank first in the world. The bamboo has special advantages, such as fast growth, high output, wide utilization, good benefit. Thus, bamboo industry has a wonderful prospect.In this study, first, the structure of 4 kinds of bamboo fibers (bamboo fiber for spinning, bamboo pulp for rayon spinning, bamboo pulp for paper making and bamboo pulp provided by co-workers) were characterized by the way of SEM, FTIR, WAXD. The results show that the bamboo fiber for spinning had difference in structure with other 3 kinds of bamboo pulp fiber. The feasibility of the modification of these 4 bamboo fibers to be turned into high-quality bamboo pulp was also analyzed by measuring the viscosity,α-cellulose content and the whiteness of the fibers. The results show that the bamboo pulp for rayon fiber spinning, bamboo pulp for paper making and the bamboo fiber for spinning are not suitable for high quality bamboo pulp modification. The 4th bamboo pulp belongs to more high quality pulp and has feasibility with modification.Furthermore, we mostly try to prepare the high quality bamboo pulp from the bamboo by the method of steaming and bleaching process. We optimize the main working procedures and have some optimum parameters. The optimum parameters of acid pre-hydrolyzing: heat preservation 6 h, temperature 120℃, acid 4%(compared with non-water material),but temperature has the dominating influence on obtained pulp ratio. The optimum parameters of vitroi-salt steaming process: alkali quantity 30%, sulfidity 30%, anthraquinone assistants 0.2%( compared with non-water material), heat preservation 4.5 h. The optimum parameters of pre-Pulpzyme Hc process: temperature 70℃, time 90 min, Pulpzyme Hc quantity 0.04%, DTPA0.5%( compared with non-water material). We optimize DMD bleaching process and have optimum parameters: the ratio of acetone and Oxone 6:8, the quantity of acetone and Oxone 14 g/l, temperature 60℃, time 100 min. The samples from these main processes are characterized by the way of SEM, FTIR, WAXD. The results show lignin hemicellulose and other non-cellulose are removed and cellulose purification comes true with experiment processing. Besides, crystallinity and crystal size increase in pulp-making process.Unpolluted reagents, especially, non-chlorine agents are utilized in experiment course. It is convenient for recycling and saving energy sources; Moreover, we make the every performance of self-purification bamboo pulp in the lab reach the request for acetifying by self-determined processing route. The viscosity,α-cellulose content and the whiteness of this final bamboo pulp were respectively 6.43dl/g, 95.6% and 88.5%(ISO).
