Simulation environment for numerical-controled machining (SENCM)is a support platform for CAD/CAM as well as NC technology. The development of SENCM, which can reduce developing cost, increase product-efficients and enhance product qualities, is greatly beneficial to CAD/CAM and NC technology.Starting with an analysis of the structure and functions of SENCM, a framework of SENCM,which sonsists of a graphic editor, an automatic NC programmer, an NC code interpretor and a 3-dimensional geometric silmulator, is first put forward in this thesis; then the systematic structures and implementations for the development of the graphic editor and the automatical NC programmer are presented in details. The main achievements concerned with this thesis are as follows:1. A generic framework is put forward for SENCM, saying that SENCM can be made up of a graphic editor, an automatical NC programmer, an NC code interpretor and a 3-dimensional geometric silmulator. This framework can be refered to in development of CAD/CAM and NC simulations.2. A graphic editor for 2-dimensional graphs is designed and developed. This editor can be used to design the geometric data of the machined parts as well as a subsystem in a CAD/CAM system.The editor is developd with Visual C++, completely copyrighted.3. An automatic NC programmer is designed and developed. The automatic NC programmer can automatically generates NC programs in accordance with the geometric shape of the machining part and the process chain planned for the parts by means of interactive modes, and enriches the functions of GSK980 systems.4. A simulator is designed and developed via multithreads technologies. The simulator can synchronically display heterogeneous data in different area of screen, exhibits excellent simulatons.5. A system of SENCM is development and prove good in practice.
