In this paper, The process of extraction of TPs in dry Camellia chryscathwhich produced in FangChengGang GuangXi were studied. The influence onTPs extraction yield were studied by these factors : ethanol volume fraction, microwave power , the extraction time of before and after radiation, radiationtime, material-liquid ratio and pH. Results of orthogonal test showed theoptimal conditions and under such process the extraction yield could reach9.36% , the yield was 6 times higher than the traditional hot water extraction,so extracting the polyphenol in Camellia chryscath under such process wasfeasible. The purification of Camellia chryscath polyphenol was studied.Utrafiltration by hollow fiber membrane and resins were used to study theadsorption and purification of polyphenols of Camellia chryscath. The fibermembrane which molecular weight with four kinds were sdudied to purify theextracting components of Camellia chryscath polyphenol. We found that the permeant components with molecular weight under 10K had the highestScavenging rate effect on DPPH·and the pureness could reach 39.36%.The adsorption properties of 12 resins for polyphenol in Camellia chryscathwere studied. Results showed that PA and XDA-200 were suitable for thepurification of polyphenol in Camellia chryscath. The modynamics showed thatthe adsorption isotherms of XDA-200 belonged to the preferential isotherm andwas closely related to Freundlich equation. After the ultrafiltration by hollowfiber membrane and eluted with ethanol, the content of polyphenol was raisedwhile the content of ethanol raisesd. And the content of polyphenol which elutedby 30% ethanol could reach 85.05%.Samples purified by resins were detected by color reactions and UVspectrum. After compared to the characterristic absorption of polyphenol, thesamples was supposed to contain the polyphenol. By using the Highperformance liquid chromatography (HPLC), we selected 5 kinds of phenolicsstandards to determine small molecular phenolics in camelliia chryscath. Theresults showed that samples contained gallic acid , catechin, (-)-epicatechinand chlorogenic acid .The content from high to low were catechin>gallic acid>(-)-epicatechin>chlorogenic acid. The content of sample a contained gallicacid , catechin, (-)-epicatechin, were 156.36mg·g-1, 636.48mg·g-1, 43.18mg·g-1which could offer the basic theoretics on the application of Camellia chryscathpolyphenol. The antioxidation of samples as well as green tea polyphenol, VC, VE and gallic acid were studied by six different systems(H2O2,·OH, O2-·, NO2-,DPPH·and deoxidating activity) . The results showed that Their Ic50 were differfrom systems, sample A, B and C both had the antioxidating function. Thescavenging rate were DPPH·>H2O2>·OH>nitrite>O2-. Results of the 6 systemsshowed that the antioxidation of sample A was similar to gallic acid and greentea polyphenol. Green tea polyphenol was better than sample B. The effect ofSample C was far worse from sample A and B. When with a low concentrationthe scavenging activity of sample A and sample B were both better than VE, butnot better than VC.Results showed that using mature leaves of Camellia chryscath extractingTPs was feasible and they were all nice antioxidants with widely application.
