Thoughts On Treatment Of Municipal Solid Waste In Small City

With the development of economy and society in China, more and more municipal solid wastes were produced. Especially, for most of the small cities of our country, how to treat and dispose the municipal solid wastes is an urgent problem faced to them.The anthor first compared the three dominant treatment and disposal methods of municipal solid waste, at the same time; the treatment experiences in developed countries were introduced. Based on the analysis of the characteristics of the small cities in China, combinated with the program of the treatment of municipal solid waste in Du Jiangyan city in Chengdu, the treatment modes of municipal solid waste in small city were discussed. Finally, the treatment mode of municipal solid waste in small city was put forward.It is concluded that the integrated treatment technology would become the tendency in the field of municipal solid waste in small cities. Also, the relative laws of municipal solid waste in small cities should be improved. At the same time, the separate collection of municipal solid waste was the tendency in municipal solid waste treatment. Then the ideas on municipal solid waste in small cities were analyzed; and the principals of municipal solid waste in small cities were put forward. Finally, combinated with the characteristics of Du Jiangyan city, the treatment thought and mode were put forward.This study can provide the treatment thought and mode of municipal solid waste in small cities of our country; especially, for the treatment and disposal of municipal solid waste in Du Jiangyan city.
