Design Of Control System For Injection Molding Machine Based On Modicon M340

Injection molding machine as the main processing equipment of injection molding, in itsprocess of clamping-pressure-cooling(plasticizing beforehand)-open mould-stripping on theinjection molding machine control system has different requirements, so the significanceobviously is there for both improve the quality of plastic products and for promote thedevelopment of plastic market. With the constant improvement of the plastic products qualityrequirements, the traditional relay control system cannot satisfy the requirement of theparameters such as temperature. So in this paper, the SZ–250A type injection moldingmachine control system reconstruction and design based on M340PLC.Firstly, this paper introduces the research status at home and abroad in terms of injectionmolding machine control system, and analyzed the working principle of hydraulic transmissi-on system. The following respectively introducees the design plan and design process of inje-cttion molding machine sequence control system, temperature control system and injectionspeed and pressure control system with three chapters, and carries on the brief analysis of theresults. In sequential control section, selecting PLC and various modules and design the prog-ram flow chart of sequence control system according to the technological process of injectionmolding machine. Temperature control part introduces the fuzzy PID control algorithm, cons-idering the nonlinear temperature, delay and time-varying characteristics. And give the detail-ed design process of fuzzy controller and program flow chart and part of the ladder diagramof the temperature control system. Injection speed and pressure control part, hierarchical con-trol injection speed, injection pressure and holding pressure based on PID control. And designthe set curve and program flow chart of injection speed, injection pressure and holding press-ure. Finally, using Vijeo Citect software design of the man-machine interface, realizes the si- mulation and monitor of injection molding machine control system.Results show that the control system of the indicators are obviously improved, reducedthe number of hardware, reliability is greatly increased and the operation and maintenancemore convenient adopts PLC control in SZ–250A type injection machine. Injection moldingmachine temperature control system can realize accurate control of cylinder temperature andcan satisfy the requirements of the plastic products of injection molding machine controlsystem using fuzzy PID control algorithm.
