China is the country with the most varieties of bamboo, its annualproductivity ranks the first in the world. Its rapid regeneration, growth andshort grow period give bamboo the characteristic of continuous utilization.And the natural bamboo fiber, which has been processed, is widely used inknitted fabrics because of its green environmental protection, cool andcomfort and health care.Considering the pure and blended bamboo knitted fabric as researchobject, through the instruments such as thickness gauge, drapery, dry box andmulti-function strength testing instrument, the relationship between thestructure and performance of bamboo knitted fabric is studied in this papersystematically by testing the air permeability, drapery ,moisture absorptionand emission and arching ability.By data analysis, it is obtained:Establishing the comprehensive index reflecting the structuralparameters of knitted fabric -the filling coefficient, further explaining therelationship between the structure and performance of bamboo knitted fabricreasonably. The rule of moisture absorption and emission is correspondencewith index equation with high relative index and is quick first, low then. Therelation of bagging strength and bagging height is correspondence with therule of index, the maximum arching strength and remaining bagging heightare stabilized after three cycling test.
