Nowadays Bamboo fiber has been widely used in many aspects, but the application is still limited in the aspect of sports apparel. Because bamboo fiber has some features, such as low strength, poor shape retention and expensive costs, this subject researched and explored the spinning process of natural bamboo/polyester yarn and bamboo pulp/polyester wrapped yarn, which based on the performance and structure of the bamboo fiber, and 35.6tex natural bamboo/ polyester yarn and 26.7tex bamboo pulp/polyester wrapped yarn was developed. In order to ensure the quality of yarn, the critical process parameters of spinning process were optimization. And the two kinds yarns with bamboo fiber and polyester blended yarn, bamboo pulp yarn, natural bamboo yarn as the research object, and testing kinds of yarn’s basic properties such as twist, strength,hairiness, evenness compositional evenness, the results show that the bamboo pulp/polyester wrapped yarn’s properties of strength, hairiness and evenness are better than natural bamboo/ polyester yarn, bamboo fiber and bamboo fiber yarn. Plain stitch, single bead stitch, double stitch and double tuck mesh stitch four kinds of weft stitch was designed and developed which can weave on the flat knitting machine, totally 24 kinds of ball knitting fabrics, which according to the functions and features of sports fabric. And the scouring and bleaching technology of bamboo polyester wrapped knitted fabric was researched, while the bursting strength, abrasion resistance, air permeability, moisture permeability, function of antibacterial and anti ultraviolet properties of fabric which were scoured and bleached were tested. The result show that bamboo pulp fiber/polyester wrapped knitted fabrics have a advantages in strength and abrasion resistance property than natural bamboo fiber/polyester wrapped knitted fabric, but they have a disadvantage in the air permeability, moisture permeability, antibacterial and anti ultraviolet function performance. Both have strengths and weaknesses, two kinds of fabric have reached the wearability requirements of knitting sport fabric, which provided a basis for the future development of bamboo fiber ball fabric. Finally using fuzzy mathematics comprehensive evaluation method analyzes the wearability of bamboo fiber wrapped yarn ball knitted fabric. We can concluded that the comprehensive wearability of bamboo pulp fiber/polyester wrapped knitted fabric is better than which of natural bamboo fiber/polyester wrapped knitted fabric, Bamboo polyester blended knitted fabric andbamboo fiber knitted fabric. It obtains that the comprehensive wearability properties of35/65 bamboo pulp fiber/polyester wrapped single bead stitch fabric is the best.
