In this paper, an advanced spinning technology which combined compact spinning and siro-spinning in traditional ring spinning machine is studied.By study on mechanism and organization of compct siro spinning and analysis for compacted principle and flow field,we research the compacted effect and seek the best design route to the key components of compct siro spinning installment. In this foundation,an actual compact siro spinning system is made according to EJM128K spinning frame. Spinning experiments are carried out to discuss compct siro spinning technology and excellent yarn properties. By experiments,we have some conclusion:(1) Self-made compact siro spinning system belongs to air-compact spinning system,and combines the sirospun technology,the process of spinning is stably reliable. By optimized design to the compact organ,we develop 15 kinds of suction slots of different structures for compct-siro spinning installment. The results of the several above-mentioned suction slots are evaluated by means of fuzzy mathematics,and finally result is that suction pipe whose suction notches are symmetrical arrangement and titled at an angle of 6,the yarn exportation spacing of suction notches is 6mm and the caliber size is small is best.(2) The compact effect and resultant yarn quality are affected by twist,air negative pressure and draft multiple. The twist value of compct siro yarn is different with the ordinary yarn stipulation because its special mechanism,the best twist factor of compact siro spinning of cotton of 9.72×2tex is about 360; The value of suction pressure should be in the range of 1800Pa to 2400Pa; Draft multiple should be in the range of 1.050 to 1.065.(3) The self-made compact siro spinning system combines doubling effect both composite and plying,can reduce spinning triangular space to minimum,and decrease yarn hairiness,especially long hairiness; The direction twist in both legs is the same as in the resulting two-ply yarn,which brings very smooth structure,closed yarn surface,two-ply structure after twist running back,improved yarn strength and elongation,regularity of yarn. Compact siro spun yarn of cotton displays superiority compared with compact spinning,siro-spinning and ordinary ring spinning.
