Based on the heavily abrasion problems of rods and tubing in Dongxin oilfield, the affecting factors of abrasion are analyzed. Applied the relevant mechanics theory, comprehensive considered the well trajectory and the motion parameters of beam pumping unit and the rod string composition and the well fluid parameters and so on, the force summing condition of rod during the different pumping periods is studied and the mechanical model of rods deformation is built and the rod deformation is simulated using the real data and the affecting factors of rod deformation are analyzed and discussed. The mechanical model of tubing deformation is built which considered the displacement constraint condition and used the beam element analytic method. The tubing deformation is calculated by using the real well bore trajectory. Accordingly, the abrasion mechanism of rods and tubing is studied and the protect countermeasure is proposed. Finally, some measures such as optimizing production parameters and mating tools are brought into operation in Dongxin oilfield, which prolonged the pump inspection period and weakened the abrasion degree of rods and tubing.
