This paper, based on the numerical controlled testing system which was excogitated during the periods of the Eighth Five-year and the Ninth Five-year, analyzes the advantage and disadvantage of this test system according to the developmental actuality and tendency of technology, puts forward the corresponding amelioration project and develops the design of the hardware and software in this embedded-based long-distance test and control system.The hardware design of the long-distance test system in this paper introduces the embedded microprocessor S3C2410. By this way, it can collect and analyze the data in the process of the numerical control system and it may finish memorizing the test data at the same time. In the past, PC was always used as the test platform, which caused some problems such as huge volume, liable to be disturbed etc., yet this design can figure them out and make the test system pint-sized and integrated.In the researching of this testing system,this paper certer on discussing the data sample interface circuit and simulate sample interface circuit,long-distance communicating interface and TCP/IP stack.Moreover, it introduces LS7266R1 CMOS chip to replace the primary phase detection, frequency offset and counting circuit, which greatly improves the test system's ability in respects of efficiency, high-speed, integration and security. The simulate sample interface circuit introduce ADS8364,a AD converting chip.The primary test system can not take a test on the dynamic capability of the numerical control system. Aimed at this deficiency, this paper designs a module used to test the voltage and voltaic signal of the numerical control system, which strengthens the testing capability of the numerical control and test system. With the analyse of the numerical control system's running precision and sampling and dealing with the data,in this tesing system,the data should be transferred to the long-distance computer through the Enthernet. On the realization of the long-distance data transmission capability, it makes a research of the Ethernet based on DM9000 network card drive and thus speeds up the transmission. Besides, this paper elaborates the data processing method which is based upon the least square method and the neural network. In the embedded-based test system, it takes a research on precision test software like mono-pulse, numerical control diagonal, numerical control roundness, numerical control arbitrary plain curve and numerical control screw thread, and it also takes a research on the software of the dynamic and static display of numerical control track. In the final part of this paper, it shows the experimental result of the CNC system.
