Nowadays, most of leveling agents are made of nonionic and anionic surfactants. The interactions among 1815(nonionic), NNO (anionic) and acid dyes were investigated, which proposed a theoretical basis for the selection of leveling agents of polyamide-fabric. The effects of five kinds of agents on the dyeing properties were discussed through orthogonal method. The influences of the concentration and structure of the dyes, NNO, electrolytes and pH on the mix micelles of 1815 and dyes were studied by measurements of the surface tension and spectroscopic analysis. The relationship between mix CMC and level dyeing properties was also discussed. Our studies showed that the effects of 1815 and NNO level dyeing properties of polyamide-fabric were more remarkable than the other three agents. There were good synergistic effects between 1815 and NNO. The mix CMC of surfactants and dyes was higher than that of the surfactants solutions without dyes, which would get higher with the increasing amount of the dyes. The interaction between 1815 and dyes was different corresponding to different structures of dyes. The influences of NaCl concentration, pH on the mix CMC of solutions containing dyes and 1815 were not obvious. When the concentration of 1815 was lower than the mix CMC, level dyeing properties became better, while level dying properties would change only a little when the concentration was higher than it.
