The traditional methods of preparing moisture-absorbing and quick-drying fabrics mainly include: modifying fiber raw materials,treating yarns with Water repellent treatment,designing the fabric structure and finishing with water repellent fabrics.These four methods require a long process flow and a large consumption of additives for preparing moisture-absorbing and quick-drying fabrics,and some of them have redundant additives,and in addition,the production cost is also high.In view of the long process flow of the above-mentioned moisture-absorbing and quick-drying fabric preparation,the consumption of auxiliaries is high,etc.,this article directly deals with the fabrics and provides an online production and preparation method of single-layer moisture-absorbing quick-drying cotton knitted fabric with high efficiency and short process.This article uses cotton yarn and modal yarn to prepare knitted interwoven knitted moisture-absorbing and quick-drying fabric,which has the characteristics of water repellent cotton yarn and Water repellent modal yarn: with the natural water repellency of raw cotton yarn and the natural moisture absorption of modal yarn,it is used in the production of traditional fabrics.On the basis of the process,the reverse side of the knitted interwoven knitted fabric is sprayed with water repellent agent online.By controlling the concentration of the water repellent agent,the liquid rate of the fabric,and the baking temperature and time,the water repellent agent is covered by the modal yarn in the interwoven fabric.The thread is absorbed to produce a water repellent effect to obtain the Water repellent effect of the modal yarn.The best process for water-repellent spraying treatment: the concentration of C6water-repellent agent is 30 g/L,the liquid-carrying rate of the fabric is 80%,the baking temperature is 180?,and the baking treatment time is 2 min.After the subsequent scouring and other treatments,the sodium hydroxide concentration and the Scoring time during alkaline cooking are discussed,so that the wax on the raw cotton yarn can fall off to obtain the hydrophilicity of the cotton yarn,while the modal yarn is still rejected water.In the knitted fabric,one yarn absorbs moisture and the other yarn is Water repellent,so the moisture absorbed by the fabric diffuses along the transverse and longitudinal directions of the fabric,and the diffusion area increases,thereby achieving a quick-drying effect.Observe the morphology of the yarn and test the infrared spectrum.Perform drip diffusion test,wicking height test,evaporation rate test and other experiments on the scoured fabric to test its moisture absorption and quick-dry performance,and get the best processing parameter for scouring: NaOH concentration is 10 g/L,scouring time is 90 min.The dyeing of moisture-absorbing and quick-drying fabrics under different dyeing process conditions was explored,and the 2%(o.w.f.)Reactive Orange 5 dye was further discussed based on the dyeing effect,and the color difference between the two yarns in the fabric due to the different dye uptake rates was further discussed.It is concluded that dyeing fabrics under the condition of medium and high temperature reactive dyes and prolonging the fixing time can effectively reduce the color difference between the water-absorbing cotton yarn and the Water repellent modal yarn after dyeing.The dyed fabric is tested for maximum soaking radius,drip diffusion,evaporation rate,etc.The results show that the dyeing process has no adverse effect on the moisture absorption and quick-dry performance of the fabric.
